You are completely correct that this is a GAME. The reason I know this (besides your amazing abilities) is that getting married is a legal concept no matter how much you spend on the wedding. At its core it is a bargain for exchange. So H asks M to marry him and in exchange for her acceptance he gives her rings. She in turn has to show up and sign on the dotted line. Once that is completed the ring is hers to keep forever even if the marriage dissolves. So she will not be returning the rings this time as she has attorneys on call that she can speak with.
