I was with everyone else saying "nooooo, that's too much water" 😄 I'm also terrible at math, so the easiest way for me to remember the ratio is for every 100 grams of powder, you need 30 grams of water. So for your initial 400 grams of powder, you should have used 120 grams of water. I gotten the marbles look, unintentionally, by mixing the powder and water thoroughly, then adding mica powder and mixing. I was afraid of running out of time, so I didn't mix for too long and ended with marbling. I also did the same thing using acrylic paint and ended up with a very cool texture, although I did have to wait for the paint to dry after demolding. One other thing that's worked best for me is to wait a couple days after demolding for the piece to dry completely. The pieces seems to "sweat" water for 24-48 hours, depending on the weather. But regardless of how you got there, your piece turned out really beautiful!

I've told you I love eco pour, I'll help you. I'll walk you through it. FaceTime me next time. 😂😂😂😂😂 You needed about 600g of powder and 200g water. Also, it is able to demold in 25 minutes. It's fully cured in 2 hrs. But it keeps drying for about 24hrs. Or throw it in the curing machine for about 3hrs. ❤

why is it that so many people decide that it's better to "wing it" instead of following the instructions the first time? The "wrinkles" are from where you used your fingers to spread the UV resin or from where you drizzled the resin in the bowl. it is pretty

@Coyo-Tea

I find it infuriating if it is obvious that the instructions haven’t even been read. Feel free to disregard them but at least read the things that’s what they are for. I wing my eco pours but I have been using them for a fair while but when I started I followed the instructions. Saves from cocking it all up and wasting product plus if the ratios are way off the finished product will not last as long or be as strong as it should be. Less powder lowers the integrity of the finished piece.

I mixed my paint with water then added it the white I got my 2 tone blue that I wanted. I didn’t measure the ecopour and water. I made it about pancake batter thick just a little thinner. My projects turned out great. My bigger piece took two days to dry but demolded perfect after about 1 houri think the wrinkles are from the moisture that was still in the ecopour it needs to air dry typically 24 hours it turned great those flakes are the bomb!

I saw a video where they kept all the chips and used them as add ins to the next project. If there was some left over,quickly add a color,spread it out thin to dry. Then crack them into chips. The Mix2match company sells what they call terrazo chips. This method does the same thing and you control the colors.

But, I think it’d be a good idea to let it air dry upside down for a few days or for a few hours in the curing machine, then apply a beeswax coat on the bottom. Especially since its home is going to be by your sink.❤

You CAN mix the powder with acrylic paint. The following is from the Amazon listing for this powder: "Resin plaster powder dries to an opaque white color and can be combined with different pigments, mica, glitter sequin, quartz, sand, and gold leaf during the mixing stage. If you're looking for a vibrant color, water-based acrylic paint works best. If you're looking for a pastel color, mica powder works well for that. Add small amounts at a time until you have achieved a lump-free consistency. It can be sanded and painted with acrylic paint after completely cured." Also, the names of the colors are based on oil paint colors.

Hahaha!! 😂. Oh Michelle, you crack me up!! No wonder it took like 7 hours to cure!! It is SUPER forgiving!! Just be careful with it dear, it may be a lil more fragile than normal with all that water. And you're actually supposed to leave it to dry for a day or 2 to make sure all the water is out before you use resin on it or anything...and then seal it. So, you might wanna watch what you do with it for a while!! 😊 💜 🤗

I was JUST looking at this exact product, and you come out with this video. ROFL Steve McDonald in his video: If You Love Crafting Don’t Miss Out On These... says that if you want vibrant color, paint it with acrylic paint. If you want a more muted color, you can use Mica powders, but it won't be as shiny. There are also ResinCrete Pigments as well you can use for coloring. The website says that it will set in 25 mins demold and 2 hours cured. Though it says to leave it in the mold until cured so that it can be perfect. It's so weird that the kit doesn't say 3:1 on it. The kit Steve was reviewing even put how much water you needed for the bag. Guess that is the difference between a kit and straight powder? Steve uses a glue/water 1:1 mixture to seal it. Let dry and paint. It's interesting that you used UV Resin. Will have to look at that other channel video.

Like everyone else I was chuckling 😂. When you said 200g of water I was like… that don’t sound right. And math is NOT my ministry. 😂But I would to see you try it again! I think it would be cool to see how it comes out. Like a lilac purple for spring.
