Pretty sure the damage on Thornmail is pre-mitigated. Even on squishy ADC champs, their innate -armor- magic resist reduces the dmg by like 12-25%. I haven't done any testing, but I feel pretty confident that I've experienced multiple situations that's shown exactly that.

Yeah as the other guy said. Ussualy he proxies as rammus but hard to do here in mid. So he actively trades with. W on to get minion agro and clear waves. If he doesn't do it he would give ekko lots of map pressure since he would get pushed in and lose CS. Of course there is a world where he doesn't did but it isn't easy with rammus in lane if you don't want to have no pressure and no cs

The secret tek nobody knows about this build is to sell jaksho for riftmaker at full build... as long as someone is either aaing you or you have taunt you are always 100% HP in fights and can heal back instantly. Got to diamond with this so it at least works to a degree

One thing I noticed watching this game, is that Rammus is sometimes more effective at higher Elos because of the enemies auto attack movement. You can see a few times where xayah or kindred are trying to kite him, but they’re moving and autoing so fast that their second attack is on its way before the first one hits. Then, by the time they see how much damage they’re taking, it’s already too late: their attack is already on its way and they kill themselves on W + thornmail

You can kill Rammus as an auto attacker, it just takes 4 items, reserving yourself to Merc Treads, and waiting until his W is down unless he's jumping you. Cleaver, LDR, BotRK, and Guinsoo's, then Wit's as last item will melt him like butter. Kindred had the right idea, but the enemy team in general weren't building like there was an enemy Rammus dominating the game.
