my first ever concert was their fair well tour. Whenever I hear their stuf now I'm filled with nostalgia and remember sundays where dad would blast powder and pearl jam on the stereo. Love these guys wish it hadnt had ended while i was so young

I dig Bernie's octave trick: start low...and then slam dunk the crescendo b bumping Jonah octave! He does it to supreme effect in a lot of songs. The opener (lost n running)...Pick You Up....Already Gone

I'm here for this. I couldn't see them in 2003 in NZ, so I got my popcorn and juice and oh gosh this is so good!

I saw them at the Town Hall in Wellies. Don't feel bad that you missed it. It was ok...by which I mean "OK, that was awesome!" (sorry)

Seen powderfinger many years ago in oz. I have still followed to this day with fanning and his solo stuff. Looking forward to his upcoming gig in Glasgow

Bass is outstanding. In a good way. Gr8 rythym section lads. Bernie and co just add the special sauce.

I got to see Ian with The Church the other day! Go see them if you can. They play really well. I wished I could listen to them without plugs... age issue you know...

you know a band is cool when they sound better live than the album.,chisel were the same.,.,playing in pubs to get noticed makes you like that.,sweet as.,.,

I wish that there would be more younger people making bands and making music like this and actually get attention for it instead of stupid pop groups getting all the attention

The fact that when you type "powderfinger live" into a search this BS is the first thing that comes up. I know people here on purpose are fans of this band but......don't name yourself after whta is possibly the best Neil Young song of all time without being able to play better than this. If you disagree I will post you some links to shows you can watch to explain why I feel this way. This is a disgrace in my opinion.

Can't judge a band off one random live performance ya pleb. They're a great band, don't comment something like that if you haven't given them a thorough chance.. Bernard Fanning, the singer, is a great songwriter and takes alot of influence from neil young, I guarantee you'd like a few songs at least

I just went and re-listened to Neil Young singing 'Powderfinger' live and, I'll tell you something, mate, he was OFF. The band, Powderfinger, are ten times better rthan Neil Young live. I love Young's music; it's brilliant. But for you to sledge Powderfinger's music by comparing it to Neil Young's shows that you don't know what you're talking about.

The fact that when you type in "Scott Harrington" nothing comes up... is not surprising.
