Best discover of my teenager days, gotem copyied to crome tdk cassets, ready1 blew my mind instantly, insta calssic for me. Cheers from Argentina, would love to see the grinners live

Coming back from a surf at Long Reef beach Sydney back in the day, 35 degrees outside and 50 degrees inside my Daihatzu Feroza.......sunburnt and full of salt............."Guide To Better Living" was always the perfect choice for the drive back home...:-).

first time I heard Grinners was early Jan 96. Grinspoon played live on on television mentioned they would be playing B.D.Out Sydney. about an hour later had tickets, saw them, BLOWN AWAY.... ROCK ON .

I was there....& it's as awesome as I remember. Still can feel that atmosphere, acceptance & sense of being part of sumthin BIG... & the freedom I felt during those earlier BDO's & Livid's. Festivals seemed to change around mid 2000's... does any1 else agree?

I reckon Grinspoon are possibly the greatest Aussie band period. Saw live so many times in the late 90's around Brisbane, Gold Coast and Byron Bay. Was awesome seeing them live at the Great Northern Hotel in Byron one night. Such a small venue so you really get to experience the band's energy. Met Phil outside the venue after the show. Such a great down to earth guy that never thinks he's too good to hang out with all his fans. He's shorter in real life 🤣🤘

Saw these guys when a radio station in Boston (WAAF) had their annual "Big Field Days" concert festivals. They were brand new with WAAF one of the only rock stations giving them a break on the airwaves. To say the least as you can see now they've developed into their own entity. Megadeth just happened to be the main act that year.

Been to every BDO since I was 16 (20 years ago). They certainly have changed a lot since this one in 2005. In my opinion the whole market has changed and the BDO's reign on festivals is coming to an end. You cant cater for both rock and dance crowds at 1 gig anymore. Soundwave and festivals like future will spell the end for BDO in coming years. Look at the numbers in sydney now. Lucky to fill 1 BDO up now and they used to get 2 full crowds in 7 years ago...
