Against popular belief, Tim Burton did not actually direct The Nightmare Before Christmas and had little involvement in the film's process. He was busy with the production of Batman Returns, and entrusted Henry Selick with Nightmare, because he did not want to deal with the "painful process of stop motion"

My dad got my grandma (his mom) to watch Silence of the Lambs. He got her to see it by saying it is about lambs. She saw it and it gave her nightmares for weeks on end. My poor grandma. She passed almost a year ago. Rest In Peace, Grandma.

@I was cursed to forever be a Lego Minifigure Metropolis was a film made in germany during the Weimar Republic era, after WW1. It was a very stunning film, but most copies of it were destroyed by the nazis. The designs of the sets and things however went on to be the basis for a lot of science fiction, such as the robotic woman in the film being the direct inspiration for C-3P0 from star wars l, and the Cybermen in Dr. Who. Das boot is a film about the U-Boot warfare, and is a relatively accurate depiction of it, over all.

It’s an f14-tomcat because of the wings folding and they unfold for combat and landing because you can get tighter turns and coast to the runway
@Wilkins23-6
@Wilkins23-6 Жыл бұрын
Everything in this was SO good... except 1 thing, the plane at the end for Top Gun Maverick. It is an f14 Tomcat fighter jet. There has never and never will be an f13. Also the things that flip up on the wings: on real planes there are actually two sets on each wing, one at the end of the wing and one farther in. One of them does affect altitude, while the other, and the more well known, are the flaps that can best be described as affecting speed and lift, particularly with landing and taking off. I know that these are probably irrelevant details but I just thought I'd write them down here. For real though, the whole show was great, combining movies and Legos, two of my favorite things, was great
