I just took delivery of my XL Cyclone Rake here in Calgary, Western Canada via the Canadian distributor and the local dealer. There wasn't a single damaged box. Assembly was easy for a 70 year old, so no whining from me. It is a pleasure to buy and receive a high quality and well designed product!

@@corgicliffdivingteam8280 well keep watching either later tonight or tomorrow I will upload a new video on my Cyclone rake caster locks. Don’t know if you’ve seen them yet and the other video I did but you’ll soon find out if you don’t have to take yours apart and hanging on the wall are extremely hard to try to move once you take them off your machine, they kinda go wherever they want to my brackets will lock the casters from swiveling and make it as easy as moving on regular. Thank you for posting this video. I just ordered the classic version this past weekend, and it was delivered yesterday. I was lucky, as all my boxes arrived in one piece, probably because I live only a couple hours from the manufacturer, and FedEx had in their hands for only 12 hours.

Well, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine I can’t believe how well it makes my Ingersoll garden tractor pick stuff up. It’s never worked that good before. After you give it some tries let me know what you think of it. Jim

Well, I have some questions for you, which Cyclone Rake do you have and what size engine does it have on it? Have you had any problems with it over the 20 years you’ve had it and if so, which problems occur and do some occur more often than others? And what are you using to pull it with? I may pass your answers on in my next video. Jim Oh yes, I forgot one more question what did it sell for back in the day? I almost hate to tell you what this one cost.

Hi Jim. First off I would like to thank you for the advice that you gave me on a snapper I picked up for my dad last year. I really enjoy your videos I’m not totally sure on what model it is I’ll try to attach a pic of of it. It is the smaller green one. With a 5 hp Tecumseh engine. Has single wheel casters. I upgraded the deck hose to a HD hose and purchased the rack that goes on top for hauling the long hose. I pull the trailer with 312h wheel horse tractor. The only problem I had with it was carburetor from ethanol fuel. Other than that’s it’s been great. I think back then it cost 1300.00 The best part is it folds up and I lean it against my garage wall and wheel the engine under my bench. Doesn’t take much room. I use it for two properties and couple times in the spring and bunch times in the fall

@@DavidDwyer-n2w well, I hope I have as good as lucky as you did. I haven’t seen a picture yet, but if it comes through, I’ll take a look at it and see if I can tell which model it is. Talk to you soon. Jim.

@@darrylt1031 well I didn’t think that was a bird, but I didn’t know what it was and I’ll tell you your gonna be so glad you bought that I can’t, I hate to say this, but I can’t wait for the leaves to come down this year last year that thing was just awesome, I don’t know if you’re going to be taking yours apart and hanging it on the wall or leaving it together, but I am in the process of making some wheel kits for it so you can move it around easier. I have one just like yours, this is my 3rd season, its a leaf sucking beast. You gotta have a place to dump the leaves. I vacuum at least 3 times are more during the leaf falling season. During that time ill have 12+ loads to dump. The only complaint i have is when moving the trailer out to hook up to the mower the wheels twist and turn in all directions until it starts going straight, turn left or right the wheels start twisting like crazy, like pulling a 300lb pig on its side.

I have been thinking about getting a cyclone rake. I like your blue Ford Ranger flareside. I used to have a blue 1993 Ranger Splash.

I’m working on putting together a video with some short clips I made when I was using my Cyclone Rake there satisfaction guarantee is totally unheard of. I mean you can’t even go to Walmart or any department store and buy a toaster. Use it for one year and take it back for a total refund yet that’s exactly what they do with their product, and I know they actually do it because my boss bought one last year, and for some reason didn’t like it, and he returned it with no questions asked , I did a walk around in my yard and videoed how big it really is and I know it took my father-in-law 2 to 2 1/2 weeks to clean up his yard. I did it with this Cyclone Rake in 2 1/2 days and I bought the Power unloader so I could blow the leaves down into a low area where you can’t drive, this machine is totally worth owning. Jim

Hi Jim, I enjoyed your videos on the Cyclone Rake XL. I just ordered an XL. My question is on the engine hour meter you briefly spoke about. Is that included with the XL from the factory? If not, I would like to know where to get one. I added an hour meter to my zero turn, but you had to wrap the signal wire around the sparkplug wire several times. I wasn't real impressed with wrapping the sparkplug wire. Thanks Scott

I bought mine from Amazon and I wired it in where the stater wire comes out of the engine to charge the battery. I got the one with electric start now I don’t know if one without electric start will have a stater in the engine and I have 11 hours on mine already, don’t forget your five hour oil change first time. Jim

@@jimjackson9381 I also purchased one with electric start, so I will do the same. I have hour meters on all of my 4 cycle equipment. They are very useful for the reasons you mentioned. Maintenance and total hours on the machine. I'm glad you spoke about it, it was good reminder to purchase one if it didn't come with one from the factory. I'll get one on order. My XL should start arriving soon. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for the response. Scott

@@scottbaker3766 hey Scott, when you get that thing and start putting it together let me know if you need any help. I am sure that you were going to love that machine I did my father-in-law‘s yard last week and that was a two week job when he did it sometimes 2 1/2 weeks. I did it in 2 1/2 days. That thing is simply amazing. Jim.
