Our plan for close side is basically what yours is but pushing the descored triball and one of the triballs on the autonomous line over to the other side of the field as well for a half awp and 11pts

I assume your joking, there is no half win point. You need to get the green tri-ball from the match load zone by your own goal. Unless you launch your colored tri-ball across the field into your own goal there is no way for 1 bot to get the win point. Still impressive coding and execution.

Ah yes. SG8 : this rule under part d it says “Entering an opponent’s Goal is not permitted at any time during the Autonomous Period.” This says you are not allowed to enter the goal. However if you read the entirety of the rule you can see that the intention of the rule is for preventing people from descoring triballs. As said in SG8. What I’m saying is that so long as my intentions are for scoring triballs then there is no penalty(officially). If you still do not think this as true then I suggest you watch mall of America videos or any competition videos on and you can clearly see other people doing it with-ought penalty. Hope this was informative and clears things up

@@ltcrobotics6271 As a referee I am not attempting to undermine MoA referees, however the rule as its written would in my opinion warrant at minimum a minor violation for breaking the plane regardless of intent. There is some leeway by how far the plane is broken but by driving so far under the goal you are gaining a potential advantage on how you can push triballs inside of the goal. This is scoring points while in violation of a rule. Reading into the referee guide it states: Remember that a Referee’s job is to enforce the rules as written, not as a Referee thinks they should be written. Global consistency is key in ensuring the integrity of competition. Do not invent, modify, or ignore rules. Do not penalize teams who are not playing in a way that a Referee “feels” is right. I have had robots doing similar actions and feel that this may warrant a Q&A but I would just caution you to be prepared for this to not be allowed at competitions. Regardless impressive robot and autonomous routines and good luck in your competitions.
