Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game in which two teams of five players compete to destroy a large structure defended by the opposing team known as the "Ancient" whilst defending their own. As in Defense of the Ancients, the game is controlled using standard real-time strategy controls, and is presented on a single map in a three-dimensional isometric perspective. Ten players each control one of the game's 124 playable characters, known as "heroes", with each having their own design, strengths, and weaknesses. Heroes are divided into two primary roles, known as the core and support.

Because, most likely, no communication is happening. They wanna kill PA but Rubick keeps using astral. Meanwhile, Rubick has no intention of actually letting PA die.

Rubick is the one of the hardest counters to OD, and I've learned it the hard way in ranked once. Rubick can only steal Astral and Ulti, both very strong. But the thing is his Astral is even better than OD astral cause it lasts longer and he has much more cast range, so if he builds an Octarine he can truely do almost like in this clip and you end up playing teamfights 4v5. Also he can ruin OD's own manapool by stealing it with Astral, and there's nothing OD can do about it. The only counterplay when playing OD agaisnt Rubick is to never skill Astral and to play without it. It's a big burden but it's 100 times better than to play agaisnt an Astral Rubick.

Had this same thing happen at like 15 minutes. (Without dazzle) Our mid OD rage quit and we then won the game as it wasn’t 4vs 6 anymore. Truely hate ODs enemies dumpster ours somehow make the game harder.

With no Astral for the enemy Rubick to steal it's not 4 v 6 but 4 v 4 because the Rubick player probably only picked Rubick TO steal Astral and hard counter OD so hard it turns the game into a 4 v 6. And someone who picks Rubick only to counter pick will never be good enough without their counter in the game to have an impact. Whenever I play against Rubick as OD, or someone with a channeling ult if I'm support, I just simply forgo that one spell. 99/100 times the Rubick has NO CLUE what to do without me using that one spell they picked Rubick to steal. Edit: I know that one OD player will probably never read this, but that's a handy tip for you if you ever find yourself in a similar situation.

you act like the rubick didnt just make a massive amount of space by preventing PA from hitting the throne so that the snapfire can recover from her blunder and win the game without rubick doint that the dire is killing the ancient before snapfire can even die to veno blademail and buyback
