I rescued a wild bird at Perth Zoo toilet block, somehow it entered the doorless building but could not get out, constantly flying at a sealed window it became exhausted. After a while it calmed down enough for me to approach it with my extended index finger, it seemed to know that I was there to help. Stepping onto my extended finger it was calm enough for me to take it outside, where sensing freedom it flew off, boy did it feel good to help an animal in distress.
