45 Dexterity Warlock is PRETTY STRONG - Solo Dark and Darker Gameplay Showcase

I truly believe this to be an incredibly strong Warlock build and one that I'll definitely be looking to build at the beginning of next wipe!

action speed > knowledge, there i said it. love this version of the build, never got all the way up to 28% action speed myself but can confirm even 20% cooks. also editing yourself into the menus is another 10/10 jar classic 😂

On the plus side a Falch might still cook w/ this build. I always knew action speed helped the casting animations but not this much! Looks like we are relegated to Orb/Falch now, so be it

I’m really hoping the change gets reverted OR Falchion (and one handed swords in general) get a bit of a buff. The high action speed will definitely help but the base damage on the Falch has definitely seen better days. I’m blaming you for the insane Demon Lock builds 👀

Trying my best to create my own style and stand out a bit more with getting creative with the green screen stuff and voicing over segments in the videos to create more of a “journey” with you guys. I played a version of this build where i stacked armor rating on everything and I All-Ined a dude with kuma's claw and won. I think this build is insanely viable

The Dex build works great with demon form, as you heal with every hit. You also have a lot of health to work with,especially with Power of Sacrifice.

I did contemplate running this build with Demon Form but I just love the front loaded damage that comes with BoC, I might have to give it a try though! 😁

yeah but in demon form they will simply dont fight back/kite you away and you wont be able to cast spells meanwhile (so no counter attacks when they get a gap between you and them). trust me, it's not worth it

@@RYUcaEU that’s pretty much the reason why I don’t bother with Demon, good players know to just run away from you. Unless you’re running the high MS/buff duration build I think it can be tough to execute.

I’m running blow of corruption with this build so it still provides a lot of front loaded damage to start! (I didn’t realise that I didn’t do a damage check with it until editing whoops). If your damage numbers are pure physical + shadow touch then I imagine you’ve put a lot into Strength and/or add/true physical damage. The thing I love about this build is that your spells increase your damage for you so you can choose to spec into a high attack speed instead and kill people super quickly; 12:53 is a great example, in the time my opponent hits me twice I’ve hit him 4 times! I used to Strength stack myself but I just think this is so much better. Give it a try my friend and let me see if I can change your mind 🙏

It does! Only by 0.4 per hit though 😂 you’re welcome to test yourself, with Vampirism after 3 hits you heal for +7HP instead of +6HP. I mainly take it for the increased healing from health pots so self casting BSB and PoS isn’t as punishing. But you’re welcome to swap it out for Malice or Soul Collector (if you choose not to take Eldritch Shield). Thanks for watching! 😁

ive been running pretty much the exact same build in sub 25 gear lobbies as im still quite new. is there a reason you run vampirism? i assumed it doesn’t scale with shadow touch as that adds a flat two true dmg and i think doesn’t scale. are you using it for the healing pots you drink right before engaging? personally i use demon armor bc i assumed the extra magic healing wouldn’t help so i might as well be a magical rondel fighter

Hello my friend! Vampirism increases both Shadow Touch and Potion healing total by 20% as they’re both Magical Healing; ST heals 2.4HP per hit and you get 24 total healing from your pots. It may be minor but I felt it was necessary to counter all the damage you take from self-casting PoS and BSB. The build is super flexible though so if Demon Plate has been working for you then keep on rocking it! Thank you for watching my man 🙏

imo its fun, when plating with friends. It has been a bit frustrating when playing this wipe as there have been some drastic swings of nerfs/buffs on classes. So if you just play for the combat, you'll enjoy it. If you start questing with a character and suddenly its nerfed into the ground... well you just wasted many hours of your life unless they buff it again randomly.

@@shyllohlee I see I played when ruins was a thing with my irl friend we used to spam duos all of the time and slowly drifted away from dark and darker at least both playing at the same time since he got bored first with the game I stayed about another 6 months or so probably more just whatever the timeline is from duos only ruins up until ice caverns dragon boss but still I think I’d have fun just launching the game and or playing by myself doesn’t seem like a fun experience like it would have 3 months ago the introduction of the Druid didn’t really excite me especially when warlock was so bad for so long and un done I knew they’d insta nerf Druid especially with all of the mechanics you’d have to learn for that specific class as well as playing against it it can be frustrating knowing that I will Perma always have a disadvantage if I stop playing the game which sucks and I know wipes are a thing and are very exciting but even the thought of launching the game gives me chills I’ve moved on to league of legends for now since I’m actually learning and wanting to be better at a game that takes 30x the mechanical still I think it’s something I want to master even tho everyone has had a decade or more of play time especially my friends so when I queue I literally get into emerald/ diamond lobbies as an iron 2 (I have a child and can only play about 2 games comfortably and I just win lose win lose so it’s difficult but I like a challenge)

Hello brother! I’m still having tonnes of fun with the game; the 3 minute map rotation makes the game great because you can play whatever map regardless of your team size, I become quest obsessed and lowkey love the grind. There’s been tonnes of small quality of life changes that have improved the game a lot too (in-game quest tracker for example) and next wipe is set to happen on September 6th with a tonne of new content including the return of the new Ruins (5X5 with two bosses too) and a Religion System. Compared to where the game was when you last played, the balance is a millllllion times better than it was before; no more stupid +1/+3 All Attributes, additional/true damage rolls are a lot lower so you no longer get two tapped by Rangers, they have gear score brackets now so you’re more likely to match with people similarly geared than you etc. The introduction of F2P on Steam brought tonnes of new players to the game too so generally there’s a good mixed bag of different skilled players in the game. I’d highly recommend coming back to play on/after wipe day. The game will reset with all this new content and I think it will be a perfect time to return. I know exactly how you feel about DaD where you want to play but just end up staring at the logo on your desktop not bothering to click it and play (trust me, been there!). Just bite the bullet, launch and the game and just play/vibe in some sub 25 gear score lobbies for a bit!
