Black Ops 6 marks the return of Round-Based Zombies. The fan-favorite mode allows players (1-4) to squad up to take down increasingly difficult waves of the undead. The mode offers two brand-new maps at launch - Liberty Falls and Terminus. Black Ops 6 Zombies continues the Dark Aether storyline in 1991 and after the events of Black Ops Cold War, when Terminus Island becomes the epicenter of a new outbreak. A deep narrative focused on and told through a dedicated crew of Zombies characters available from the start: Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Mackenzie ‘Mac’ Carver, and Maya Aguinaldo, along with a supporting cast of new and returning characters Players who play with these four characters will experience even more of the story through additional dialogue and interactions between members of the crew. Fan favorite Zombies features return, including GobbleGums, deep weapon customization, global progression and mode-specific systems. The mode also features a curated mix of powerful weapons and upgrades, deadly enemies and tons of secrets to uncover. The brand-new Augment upgrade system provides a rich and innovative customization experience, allowing players to unlock three Major and three Minor upgrades for every Perk, Ammo Mod, and Field Upgrade in the game. Unlock additional Augments to suit your preferred playstyle, just by playing Zombies. Players will be able to unlock over 100 Augments at launch, with more to come in post-launch seasons. Players will encounter various types of Zombies and grotesque evolving enemies like the new Vermin and Parasites. Higher rounds will introduce more challenging enemies. All new Melee Macchiato Perk-a-Cola designed to inflict a deadly punch to enemies within close range. GobbleGums are single-use items that can be earned in-game to provide various gameplay advantages and effects. Zombies players can also choose to play in 3rd-person perspective and toggle HUD elements such as enemy health bars and zombie damage numbers in Settings for the first time in a Black Ops Zombies game.

Not to be mister negative here but I don't think the map on it's own can save the feeling of this zombies mode. The problem is that it's all run on a Warzone package now, with Warzone style mechanics like the points and all the items and salvage drops etc, the gunplay, the unlocks and on this map even the whole atmosphere. That feeling is not going to change just because the atmosphere of the map changes, it's still going to feel like you are playing Warzone with zombies. It's never going to feel unique again.

Also I think salvage is a valid feature, but we should be crafting stuff that belongs in zombies not scorestreaks. Like keep the gersh devices/ monkey bombs but for more exotic items, why not reuse assets from past zombies like the gorod flame thrower or put in narrative that some items from the aether storyline still connected like imagine being able to craft takeos katana or the apothicon sword and they're limited in use.

Y’all just don’t understand.. Zombies is dead and gone. They’ve shifted their goals. They want zombies to attract Warzone and MP players so they can use zombies for camo grinding. They want Warzone and MP players to be comfortable in zombies hence the MP styled Hud and MP features like streaks. I don't want to be too bashful on this map - it could have a good EE, but this map screams: "We need to appease the new zombie players from Warzone by giving them a map for them." This isn't a bad thing, it just feels like you're the big brother who got to share a zombie experience with your twitching, high-sugared little brother. It's just this map had the best intro cinematic of all COD Zombies, but we got... this map... I don't think the map - is going to be the worst map of all time, but just very forgettable, like Firebase Z. No personality, and too Warzone-like. P.S - I just realised that time every time the jet gun was in a zombie map - the map was either god-awful or now bland. Just realised that.

Remember the urgency of praying the box gave you a panzer killing gun on origins before round. 8 or you were pretty toast? Remember 3 hits and your down. Remember zombies used to be a challenge. If you didn't get pap by 20 or 10 on some maps, it made it extremely hard. Now its like, well, you have the option, and all of them are easy. No luck based, no barebone spawn in. No theme, no creepy atmosphere. Honestly this would be fine but at least add a "classic" mode. Give it some soul. Every map used to feel so unique now you cant tell one grom the other.
