A second season for My Happy Marriage has already been announced ♥ Have you heard about the manga called Bride of the Barrier Master? It has a similar vibe (cinderella-esque in the beginning due to the fmc's abusive household) but is different enough to be its own thing and not a copy. I really like the first two volumes and can't recommend them enough :)

I love the interesting titles that mangas have, lol! But some of them have so many volumes that it gets me so hesitant to enter the manga world (which I plan to do whenever I'm ready!). How many pages does an average manga have?

Just from experience (as I don’t know logistics), it really depends on the type of manga/story… they’re all quite different 🤣 not that helpful sorry. But typically for me shojo mangas I’ve read have been like 180-220 pages per book. I know it can be slightly daunting when it says 15+ vols/books. but if I compare both reading experiences… If I’m reading a book all day I can maybe complete a 380 page book. But I could probably get through like 9-11 manga vols (depending on page length). So it’s much quicker to read a manga book compared to a traditional!

Futarijime Romantic is only three volumes?! I really thought it was ongoing. It's actually quite blasphemous lol. I'm SO disappointed. Hopefully we get it licenced physically in English soon. I can't see what it wouldn't happen.

ONLY 3, it’s completed apparently 🥺😫 honestly I wasn’t ready & need more. I know right, why would they do this to us. I hope I’m wrong though 🤞🏼my friends went to Japan & this manga was sold out everywhere they looked! Their family that live there said it’s quite popular but shocked it was sold out! I just wanted my hands on a copy even if it wasn’t translated to English just to look at the art in person 🤣
