The most frustrating things were DC's and keys, imagine having a good match with Plague , down the person with a corrupt purge and the survivor DC's. Next match you got like 9 hooks, 2 survivors dead, 2 gens left and then they open the hatch and escape 😑.

Also the survivor adepts were fair when you only had to get a 4k (even with mori) but from like The Plague update and new emblem requirements - Merciless Victory is 2 pips on red ranks compared to survivor adepts when you only have to escape ,killer adepts are WAY harder.

@@luisrosario3781 I like Thanatophobia, Corrupt intervention to make it easier to get them all infected at the start and infectious fright. Then I pick one perk to slow the game down like Pop. But I usually try to play her aggressively. You need to get them infected as soon as possible and then try to snowball them. Make them panic and cleanse so you can punish them. My top advice is never to waste more time on the chase then 15-20 seconds. If you cannot down the surv in that time just infect them and go push the others. otherwise, they will pop all the gens and then cleanse. Also never really waste a time around good pallet or loop. Plague is kinda bad at that. Better to go somewhere else and catch them later when they are of the guard. With addons, I like the ones that make the infection faster, and sometimes it is great to use the one that gives increased duration on stuff. Also, bring one apple if you want to play super aggressively fro the start. Two fountains are great alongside the intervention if you can utilize it effectively.

@Luis Rosario Elissr has a good load out, but if you’re like me and want to run an insta down detection build I’d say Infectious, BBQ, Devour Hope and any other perk of your choosing. You want to bring anything that improves your vile purge’s effectiveness to get them all infected in the first segment of the game, allowing you to get three stacks easily. Once you’ve hit three stacks, you start insta downing them. If they cleanse often (Idk why, but I’ve never played a match where survivors don’t cleanse. I’m green rank but am matched with reds and purples) then you have two tools at your disposal: Devour hope for when survivors are close, and your corrupt purge. Eventually, they either have to not cleanse, or do bones which delays the game, allowing you to get juicy 4ks. Combo that with the detection of infectious fright and BBQ, SWFs who stick close together will lose very quickly. Using this build, survivors often get two-three gens done. I’d also recommend watching Otz’s video on early game plague and maybe try that if you’re ever bored. Edit: Grammar

It only proves that the game is hugely survivor sided...Otz did little to no mistakes at all and he still ends up loosing 2 players, and the 4 of them didnt have the typical DS/UB (And now Soul Guard) combo. The lates type of survivors ends up dying because they were too cocky trying to get rescues in front of the killer, knowing they have a free hit sprint burst+a full minute of inmunity, and the last team of the video won because just pushed the gens and got Otz spend just a milisecond extra chasing someone

Otz losing matches is just as informative and inspiring, if not more, than him winning matches. We get to see how good players can wreck house even when matches are played exceptionally well on the Killer's half. What I think happened is that Otz got Ormonded, there was just too many pallets over a large space and survivors can really abuse those facts and make the killer miserable. Some games will just be unwinnable as Killer, because that's the state of the game as it is. Now, that's not to say that survivors also play super casually and win; these survivors played extremely well being red rank. I know that matchmaking is an inside joke for the community, but matchmaking this match did it's job. Hell, hot take of mine, I think it does take effort to get to red rank; I have almost 1200 hours and still have only hit red rank for one match on killer and never got there on Survivor.

Ya I thought that was strange the moment I first saw it. He knew ace was there with no DS and went for the girl with 0 hooks instead. I think it would have been an easy win had he just killed ace there. Staying a little closer to the hook would have made it even easier but not even required I don't think. Not trying to cut him off and just chasing him down may have helped too, but I think he still could have found him regardless. Maybe he forgot there was no DS for a minute, unfortunate.

Rotten fields has the highest survival rate out of all the coldwind maps, does it not? Also yes, Otz was camping but he wasnt doing it for the sake of just camping. He had two gens regressing, two hooks, and a third survivor right next to the David who he camped. Giving that up and just leaving would have lost him the game without a doubt. Near the end, before the rescue, he had TWO survivors right next to the hook attempting to go for the save. I dislike camping, but what else was he supposed to do there? Go to the other side of the map and try to find the mystery fourth survivor who is unaccounted for, when he has three of them right in front of him the entire time? Thats a major game throw.

last match is 100% ormond map problem, being solo surv I got so many similar games on that map, like I’m doing 2 gens solo, running around main, maybe get hooked once - BAM exit gates are open, no comms, no clutch perks, no sweat

That second game was, indeed, very crazy. So many things could have gone wrong to cost Otz the game and so much DID go wrong. Geeze, that last game. Bigest oof. But now now Otz, Discordance did go off a few times, you were just always too far away to make the best use out of it. And Infectious went off a lot and you used it to find people a few times.
