Yes the entire distance is two or three way. It is national highway. No difficulty at all.

Hi, from Bangalore to Madurai, the toll is around 500 rupees one way. Temple is open. But do check the temple bulletin once before planning. In Tamil Nadu, there are still sporadic restrictions on crowd gatherings.
