Talent, perhaps? And a little training. Even so, he is relatively young. I do hope Danny will be up for other roles in the industry. You do know that he was going to quit acting if he had not landed the Emmerdale role? His words, read it in an interview. Soaps are a blessing and a curse for actors.

+Matheus Lunguinho No, let's not kill Gordon. The police or Robert need to find someone who knew what was going on in Gordon & Sandra's house or someone else who was also abused by Gordon. And Gordon needs to be tried and sentenced to a lot of years in prison. Then word needs to get out to the inmates what he's in for. Hell is better justice for Gordon than death.

I swear I cried during that final scene. The emotions flying everywhere was just too much. I also love how Robert is doing his best to mediate the situation between Chas and Aaron, failing though he was. The writers went all out with this and it shows. It's clear that by the time this is over Robert would have successfully won over everyone in Aaron's life to his side. He's already gotten Chrissie et al to stop hating him. Andy's mellowed. So by time Aaron's have completely forgiven him he won't have to deal with anybody trying to break them up.

Whatever writers have been working on this story-line deserve ALL the awards! Coming from someone that has worked with child abuse survivors, the way they are writing characters reactions to things is spot on. I was cringing during the scene where Chas was spilling it to everyone, but it's also hard not to understand where she's coming from. Things like this affect the whole family and everyone is going to have a different reaction. However, #1 is to ALWAYS respect the survivor's wishes and so I hope from here on out Chas has learned her lesson. But given how well the writers have been progressing this along, I know she will.

I feel for Aaron with this, I get that he wouldn't want people to know. The fact that his entire life is lied out in front of people he know and have to see every day and complete strangers not fair. But the way the writers had Chas reveal it, could not have been better. Danny breaking my heart once again. And I can't go without mentioning Robert, oh my god. He was just perfection supporting Chas and Aaron. Changing my life with just the looks on his face. Ugh I need to prepare myself for the rest of this story line, and it's not going to be easy.

The way this storyline has been written is brilliant, I love Chas and her fiery character they always stay true to it which means a lot of the time she gets things wrong. The lines for the scenes between Chas and Aaron not to mention the acting by Danny and Lucy really really good. And I also think it is great Emmerdale are teaching us how not to treat someone who is a victim of abuse, even if it feels like the right thing wanting to let out all the anger and hate you have for the abuser and want everyone to hate them as well, you may ultimately be causing the victim more pain.

I get where she's coming from but Chas is making what happened to Aaron about her when it isn't. She feels bad, hopeless, helpless, guilty and she hates not being able to do anything about it. Robert was right when he told her that she's only trying to make herself feel better. She isn't taking Aaron's wants and feelings into consideration and now she's betrayed his trust. And shouting to the world that he's messed up and damaged? Wow...what a way to boost his already non-existent self-esteem. Amidst the family turmoil, we have Robert, strong and silent, stepping in as mediator when need be because he wants to support Aaron but he also gets where Chas is coming from and the last thing either of them needs is to be at each other's throats. Once upon a time he would've used the discord to his advantage. Talk about a turnaround. He's really come a long way. I'm proud.

I understand Chas feeling kind of helpless in this situation with nothing happening quick enough with the case and it's good that it's out now but it should of been Aaron to say something. It was also the one thing Aaron asked her not to do so I understand him being mad and I honestly broke down crying when he broke down explaining that to her. It was also good to see the dynamic with Aaron Chas and Robert and I hope it's foreshadowing to the future with them.

+SailAwaySweetSis Totally agreed. I can see where Chaz is coming from but she didn't have the DAMN right to reveal all the things that Aaron didn't want people to know. As Aaron said she only did what she did to make herself feel better and she never thought of the consequences or how her great reveal would make Aaron feel. I am currently actually liking having Robert, I just hope that shit doesn't hit the fan soon.

+derrick johnson 😭 Roller coaster of emotions with this storyline. I hate that sick pedo Gordon is ruining Aaron's life and he isn't even present at the moment...I wonder when he will show up since Chas graffitied his car. Totally understand Chas feeling outrage at justice not being served but on the other hand I also understand how Aaron must have felt so humiliated by what she did. I love these two characters and I'm feeling for both of them. I actually can't wait till we see this thing in court because I just want the jury to see how much Gordon needs to be locked up and Danny Miller's brilliant acting chops as well.

The little eye roll Robert did when he was standing between Chas and Aaron, watching them throw bombs at each other. Probably thinking what have I gotten myself into. Last year Rob would have turned back on his heels and never come back. A true testament of sincere feelings towards Aaron for any doubters remaining. Loved the cheeky Cain's remark to Emma " you have been watching day time tv again". Danny overplayed with crying and shaky voice near the end of the clip (in my opinion).

+sanyrub Don't you worry. Robert is the wolf in disguise. A&R will have their downfall eventually, hopefully in a distant future. I disagree that reunion is a failure. You have two extremely talented actors that possess undeniable on screen chemistry. It would be blasphemous not to make them achieve their full potential.

Biljana Ć. With that I absolutely agree. The fail comes when they reunite them despite the extremes they made Robert go a few months ago. They should have had some foresight if they wanted this explosive couple togetehr no matter what. They should have been a little bit more subtle too and let everything about them for when the rape story ends. I´ll be there for when Robron finally ends like you say btw lmao.

I know Chas wants to help her son and I can also understand that she feels helpless and guilty because of what happened to her son. I can feel it, because I have two children, now adults. But Aaron is right. No matter what Chas does to "help" her son, basically It is only about what she wants and how she feels. She is to much self-centered, and the more I follow Emmerdal, the more the impression is strengthened

+Bryce Thompson Sadly yes. Chas did exactly the right thing. Keeping things like this secret often can blow the family apart forever, and more often leads to the suicide of the victim; which can let the disgusting dirtbag go free. It is just that her 'shooting from the hip does not seem right to us because it almost always has backfired on her. Just remember that this time she , and Aaron , have Robert's backing. Really think about the past of this show and you can realize why we all know Robert is the man for Aaron. The old Aaron started very much like Robert and both have progressed to the point they now understand why each other did, and do , the things they have both done. As a soap, this is a coming out story to the extreme. My hat is off to everyone. Danny, and Ryan, are going to set every actor, today, back on their heels.

Chas REALLY needs professional help. Her impassioned speech was ALL about her, just like Aaron said. She feels so much guilt, perhaps, and wants everyone to know it. Aaron asked her NOT to take matters into her own hands and DEFINITELY NOT parade his pain around the whole town. She failed on both counts. Why is she driving Aaron away? Is it really her guilt, or is she subconsciously angry at Aaron for forcing Gordon away, as a result of the abuse allegations? She needs help to identify why she is behaving so irrationally and wrecklessly.

Emotional, powerful scene yet again from the one and only Danny Miller! Now I get why Chas felt the need to expose Gordon the way she did, however what I don't agree with is the fact she totally ignored aaron's wishes. But what made it even worse was the fact she went into detail about aaron's current mental state in front of the pub and how she nearly made it all about herself. That's what made it appear selfish. Of course on top of that he only just about gets through the front door and finds out she's vandalised Gordons car spray painting "paedo" on the front of it. Like I said, I do get why she's so adamant to expose Gordon for the monster he is but she seriously needs to think more, especially about what her son wants and needs at this very difficult time!

As much as I absolutely feel for Aaron and his exposure to everyone else, I do get where Chas is coming from, it's just too much to keep it in; she's wrong to go against what he asked, but she can't help herself. I know my mom would be exactly like her if she were in her shoes, cuz some people really have to let these things out or they explode. It's not ideal, far from it, but it's realistic (yet another reason I really like Emmerdale, yay!).

+Bryce Thompson Well that is the problem of been a soap. Characters are written on the go , not long term. That is what gives so much plot holes in the story. I'm all for second chances , even I got 1 in the real life , however there is one scene that everybody forgets. I'm not sure is it a mistake or was part of their original view for Robert. The scene between Robert and Ross , when he forced a confession from Ross about the shooting. Ross was telling him how bad he felt after the shooting and then Robert trow the bomb " I felt nothing after I killed Katie". Only a complete psychopath can feel nothing after a kill, even tho it was unintentional kill ,still the gilt should of been...

(KZbin: American Kids on Death Row & Doing Life--Full documentary) For those who have some time to spare, here is a true documentary of teens who have murdered people usually around age 15 and have been committed to life in prison or death row in America. What makes the video so compelling is that we find a story almost identical to Aaron Livesy's. I hope Aaron Fan will allow the link below, or just the title you can Google, because it brings the tribulation of these youths so close to home with Aaron. A stepfather would take a stripped boy into the bathroom, tie his hands to his ankles, masturbate awhile and the proceed to rape him. Yeh, it reads offensive, but this is the Emmerdale storyline we are following and probably hear details in court. (Freeze and read the details in the blurb of newspaper shown.) It went on from around age 8 till 15, when the abused teen got a friend to help kill his stepdad and mum. The mother would also give enemas to the boys for no reason and berate them for hours about being worthless. You will also see the self-cutting on arms and legs from depression and stress. The main difference from Aaron is that many cutters in real life have patches of neat parallel cuts an inch long and not a scattered pattern all over their torsos like Aaron. It's not a video for the fainthearted but it makes Aaron's case so much more vivid. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rp3SdWSGndukn8k

Ridiculous what they are doing just to make Robron happen again. So disappointed. I don´t see Jai back with Megan, or Cain with Amy, or Cameron with Debbie. It´s pretty revolting to involve Robert in this child abuse story knowing what he did last year and without a redemption story before. Personality transplant. Must be Emmerdale´s biggest fail from the last 3 years alone with giving Rachel and Jai a big story (lol). Biljana Ć. Oh it certainly is. I know for a fact. It´s been poorly done the way it is going though. That´s all. The decision itself I don´t like it either. Cain is not sharing a life with his victims, neither is Cameron, nor Jai. Best outcome for Robert and everybody would have been not operating a personality transplant on him and start a new story far from Aaron. A fantastic year full of drama was enough. Better for his victims and better for him as the entertaining manipulative character he... used to be until recently. I think it is just going to repeat itself a lot. Many people would have prefered this, many people don´t care about the holes and prefer Robron no matter what. Just life in what usually is a great soap.

+sanyrub There is something I don't undertand with your posts. Why do you feel the need to post the address of this forum (twice) and more generally to repeat and repeat again that you're not the only one thinking the way you think ? You even said above that this forum "made you see you were right". So basically, you need to know that some people agree with you (which is very likely when you talk about a soap that has 6 or so millions viewers) to feel that you're right ? It doesn't exactly help people to think your point is convincing.

I hate saying this because I love Aaron so much and Robert is definitely coming along but I was a bit let down.I expected Aaron to have his head on a little tighter considering this was why he left for a while and I expected his reunion with Robert to be a bit more than just two acquaintances seeing each other after a while. I didn't expect them to suck face or anything like but ...

***** Two weeks is a lifetime in soap land. Anyone can tell you on this channel or Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and tumblr that Danny Miller walks on water as an actor and as a human being in my eyes. I just expected a bit more between ROBRON and I certainly didn't expect him to be "cured" and I basically said that when I commented that I expected his head to be "on a little tighter".

aaron is nuts , making is mom to go out and make that statements . he needs shrink to help him deal with these things better , truth will come out and doing things like that only make his case more weak .

abhishek sharma It's part of the shame that he feels. Having everyone know it's feels like they are going to blame him.

Angie Fields i know everybody have their demons , his is his shame . i remember how much he ashamed of being gay that he beat the hell out of paddy . but its my love for him that frustrated me . its like if your loved one done something stupid and gets in trouble and you are sorry for him and at the same time angry.

This entire storyline has spiraled out of control. Writers don't know whether to scratch their watch or wind their butts with it anymore. What a load of old tripe. The entire writing team on this arc needs to get flushed.

+alex gregg There's nothing going on. No story direction. Just the actors adlibibbing lines. You know it's bad when Danny resorts to sunvisor-ing his eyes repeatedly to make up for there being nothing substantial to say. They're just saying the same things over and over again going on a month. Like the writers don't know how to end it. Poor Danny "Just look annoyed, Danny!..." This is what he comes back to after going on vacation.

+plutorama haha, i guess i kinda see what you mean. i mean to make it as real as possible, nothing of this magnitude gets solved over night or in a month or in 2 months a year even (but soaps must move faster obv.) i heard they did extensive research before they did this storyline to do it real justice, im sure it'll pick up in the coming weeks :)
