@@INTERNATIONAL_RDF-D well my family has has 7 powerstrokes and they all have lasted well above 300k. I have one at 400k and my uncle had one that when tboned was at 550k. It's all in maintenance. Anybody who had a bad one obviously didn't know how to take care of it.

Man that's the problem I have with my 93 f250. With its dead on alignment it handles 85 mph like its on tracks, but having that big 460 running at 2700 rpms I can literally watch my fuel gauge going down. I just wish I had one more gear.

The truck was great i mis it it had more powerthen new trucks 100mph in13th was easy or pulling 10000lb was easy it got 20mpg and everyone new when i was coming the guy who bought it took it apart to make a gental mans truck dum as... It didnt need anything

That's an F150 with 8 bolt axles. I can see the sketchy looking radius rods. Great engine, but probably under-powered. Nice toy though.

HP output of 135hp or so for the turbo version. Marine versions could be closer to 200 hp. Torque output of 282 lb/ft for the turbo version. Powerful, but not too awesome. For comparison, the 6BT Cummins is 165-215 hp and 400-450 lb/ft of torque. I know it's a 6 cylinder vs. a 4, but the 4-53 outweighs the 6BT by more than 200 pounds! Don't get me wrong, I love the old two-strokes, but this truck isn't the powerhouse everyone things it is. BTW, it's not a one ton either.
