Michelle, the easiest thing to do, now that you know how much your mold holds, is to mark the amount on the bottom of the mold in permanent marker, that way there is no need to keep written records. Also, sometimes the volume required is marked on the molds already. As for the mica clumps..., a silicone whisk might be the answer, if you can find the very tiny ones. I just love how realistic the end results are! Now I'm craving ice cream! Thanks for the great video .

Thank you for another amazing video! Just wanted to share my mold measuring tip.. I store my molds in a well know Swedish companies ziplock bags - the range of sizes are excellent for molds - I measure my molds with water the same as you then I write on the bags with a Sharpie what the mold is, the size of it, how much epoxy it needs to be full/half full/domed etc. and any other info I need. My molds seem to last longer in bags and stay clean and you don’t need to write on the bottom of the mold which eventually gets rubbed off. Hope that helps people 😊

I have been doing a lot of research on how to mix the mica powders without having the little bits floating up. I have found that let's resin has suggested to mix the mica powder with a small amount of alcohol or a small amount of resin before mixing it into your larger portion. I have not yet tried it but definitely will and let you and all of the channel watchers know exactly how it worked 😊😊😊

They really do look like ice cream! Those cones sometimes have an edge so I think you could have left it if you didn’t want to trim it. Do you have a silicone ball? If you pushed it into the scoop you want to use on top creating a dent that would set over top of the bottom scoop, do you think that might work? Now I’m hungry for ice cream. 😊

May I make a suggestion? Since you are out of frame at the bottom a lot. We always see what is above the mat. Maybe you could move the mat forward on the work table. This way you would have more of your doing stuff in camera frame. That big rectangular white thing is in every frame and we would rather see what you are doing. Hope this suggestion works.
