Satsang is a Sanskrit term derived from two roots: sat meaning "true’" and sangha meaning community, company, or association. It can be translated as "associating with good people" or simply "being in the company of truth," and refers to the act of gathering with Sattvic-minded, uplifting beings, especially spiritual seekers.
Satsang is different from any course or lecture because the energy field in it allows for clarity, stillness, and expanded awareness to be experienced by those who seek it.
Whenever something increases your awareness of the Truth, it opens your Heart and quiets your mind.
Satsang is one of the most effective means of transcending your mind and staying in the egoless state which can be called enlightenment, liberation, freedom, moksha, nirvana or simply abiding in Self.
We call our Satsang lovingly as Bhagavan Satsang as they are all due to his grace, Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi.
According to Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi Satsang means only Atma Sang(Association with Self). Those who are trying to be in Self can come in the company of realized beings/Sadhus/Saints/Sages and that is also Satsang. Those who come in the company of Jivanmuktas also become Jivanmuktas.
Bhagavan explained the importance of Satsang by quoting Tayumanuvar, Suta Samhita, and Kaivalya Navanitam.
Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi is widely thought of as one of the most outstanding Indian spiritual teachers of recent times. Having attained enlightenment at the age of 16, he was drawn to the holy mountain of Arunachala in southern India and remained there for the rest of his life. Arunachala mountain itself is considered to be self-manifested Lingam, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Just by looking at it with reverence liberation will happen.
Attracted by his stillness, quietness, and teachings, thousands sought his guidance on issues ranging from the nature of God to daily life.
The philosophy of Advaita or Non-Duality has become, along with Buddhism, one of the most popular spiritual paths being pursued by those interested in enlightenment today. During the past three decades, Advaita has become more widely recognized in the West through the ever-growing popularity of Ramana Maharshi. His point of view has for its aim Self-realization. The central path taught in this philosophy is the inquiry into the nature of Self, the content of the notional 'I-thought'. Carl Jung wrote of Ramana: “Sri Ramana is a true son of the Indian earth. He is genuine and, in addition to that, something quite phenomenal. In India, he is the whitest spot in a white space. What we find in the life and teachings of Sri Ramana is the purest of India; with its breath of world-liberated and liberating humanity, it is a chant of millenniums.”
Om Peace Peace Peace.

⚠️Sir please make a lecture on " loving without attachment"🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 In my case if I love someone their memories are going in my mind but iam not expecting anything return even love from them 🙏🏻🙏🏻 How can we overcome that🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 But that love should not be fake🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Loving peoples makes me more extrovert i.e we do more welfare things to them. That makes more vasana that leads to karma and binding, how can we overcome that 🙏🏻 Many saints are praising about "love", Don’t you ever try to “fall into” other’s love, but as my children you must all learn to “walk out” of yourself to love others. It is active loving, when we give love. Generally we are passive: we cry to receive love. To love others is an art and we must know its theory and practice, its methods and techniques, in order to master the art of giving love. In music or painting, in engineering or medicine we must learn the theory, and also for a long time practise them, in order to master any one of them - so too is the great art of giving love to others. 👆"I love you" famous book by Swami Chinmayanand,

The mind even says good things to do .if you consider the mind as ego then what to do in this life .what to do in life. Being spontaneous is what Ramana meant ? I am figuring it out . May be my mind figures out and not accepting it. All are minds work.

22:03 complaints mean we have not surrendered! That is profound! The problem with people is that while they claim to believe in God they don’t accept his plan and they complain as the body/mind complex form. If you think, As the Self, there will be no complaints. Only the body/mind feels the pain and anguish of the Samsara! Once someone says/claims “I am enlightened” by just understanding scriptures and physical forms of knowledge given out by other physical forms through the use of his intellect, body and mind then all I can say is “ congrats, your Ego has reached a dangerously high level”! Once enlightenment happens the physical form can no longer utter the word “I”. 42:44 “understand you don’t need anything from the world”! Another profound line. What can the world offer the Self!? The world can only offer something to a body/mind container! The world has nothing that can either Harm or Benefit the Self! In the same vein the Self cannot cause any harm to the world, all the atrocities, the crimes, the adulteries, butchering of people or animals is committed by the Body/Mind that always plots and is conniving and by the people who have no awareness of Self and are 100% body-mind!! The other thing is that some of us ( myself included) have one foot in Samsara and one in the Spiritual realm. So we suffer from split personalities and have moments of rage or anger or anguish from the happenings of the physical world when we get “sucked in”. But once fully realized one thinks from the self and he will be guided by the Self and cannot commit any “crimes” as deemed by conscience or societal laws and rules!!

Yea once enlightened or deep in this path I can’t imagine harming anything. Of course many of us still do by eating meat or animal products and the less of that the better I suppose. But the Hitler’s of the world must be so far removed from this because that’s the only explanation there seems to be. The rest of us who know the truth either by study or experience, still try to mitigate suffering as the Buddha spoke of.

Is bhagavat Gita false ? Arjun listening to Krishna, and accepting to do his action no matter what his heart says ( his heart said he should kill his own pupil). He should have listened to his heart with stillness. But he did listen to Krishna. Do we have to do what we are destined to do even if it is evil? Or Do we have to abide in stillness and not do any action . A butcher because of his karmic action and desires, he is destined to kill the animals. Do we have to stop him or watch him?

How come Ramana got to check out of society and go off alone while the rest of us have to do to play this futile "seva" game of helping each other die a little later? Where is Bhagavan's seva? How come he doesn't have to give himself to this meat grinder that is society?
