Stunning doll and a fitting tribute to (and superb design by) the iconic Kitty Black Perkins! I will probably keep mine on the model muse body but if I were to rebody her I think she’s the same skin tone as the original Looks MTM Simone doll.

What's the point, though, since she looks exactly like Looks 10. The only difference is her eye makeup and curly hair. If I didn't have Looks 10, I would get her. I can always put a red dress I have on her and save money and have my own Black Barbie.

@@iamsoverybored878 shes more conventionally pretty compared to looks 10. Looks 10 is striking like alec wek, 45 is more beauty queen like naomi campbell. The difference is in the shape of the eyes.

This doll is beautiful. In my Barbie Basics storyline, I called this doll Danisha and she's the mother of Muffy, Barbie Looks #10. Danisha is an activist and model and she helps her daughter Muffy to be a brave and strong model because Muffy suffered bullying when she was a little girl but Danisha helped her and both mom and daughter are top class models. They also model for Palmolive soap commercials.

Wow. I have been wishing for a Barbie looks #10 lookalike but with more subdued makeup and here she is! Her eyes are perfect and don’t look pixelated compared to #10. I still think #10 is pretty but she looks as if she has proptosis by the way her eyes were painted. This one, however, is just perfect except I’ll have to rebody her.

I still don't know how I feel about her, this is a BEAUTIFUL doll and the gown is nice! But it just kinda feels like another fashion doll to me...she doesn't have the dynamite that the first two had....that being said I think once I see her in person my mind may change.....anyone else feel like this? And also...I vote model muse ❤

I don't like that the bracelet is glaringly yellow and not gold. I think the 40th was a better tribute because it took the original design and made it more modern. This could literally be any doll, for any reason, but it's the 45th anniversary doll because they say that's what it is.
