What if father (patriarchy) was a tail-end extension of mother (spiritual matriarchy), where one cannot exist without the other as they follow one another throughout the course of all eternity? Spiritually speaking (gender, race and simping aside), matriarchy can begin with a fundamental understanding of the cyclical nature of reality (God). Represented by the snake in many creation myths, the living cycle has a trinity of a beginning (head), a middle and end (tail).
