Blending colors is not easy, but you made it look easy. I love them both, and that large one is gorgeous! I can't wait to see what you do with them!

Thanks for showing this Chris! I'm definitely going to try this! The last pearl painting I did I used a translucent base over a mottled blue/ purple base. This looks like it might be easier than using fluid paint to achieve the mottled look. I really appreciate this video Chris! Your big and smaller canvas look great! Please show us what you do with it😊🌞🤗🌞🤗🌞😊

Thanks for showing this great backgroung technique, Chris. I've never used a mop brush before. That really softens the colors. Nicely done, my friend! 💖

Very informative video Chrissy! Ty 4 sharing! I love this look! It is a SUPER pretty background! I cannot wait to see what you do with it!!:) I have been into Bokeh backgrounds lately. As soon as I seen that hair I said, "ugh" cause I KNOW it CAN be such a drag if it's difficult to get out. TBH, I have bought so many expensive mop brushes and guess what I use instead? Makeup brushes! ha! They have worked better for me. Some I have are just so super soft and I don't seem to have as much shedding issues. The work beautifully! I never used them for my face, so I decided "hey, why not? I'm gonna try it!" and I haven't turned back since! lol. So, if you have any nice powder brushes laying around that you don't use for makeup, give it a shot! You may be just as surprised as I was! lol. I LOVE it when you do these kinds of videos! I would think a lot of us into fluid art are just as much into other types of art as well, ya know? Well, I very much appreciate these videos... I can at least test to THAT! :) As always, lots of love & hugs! xo

That was me...like no:80 :) ..always good to see how others blend thanks Chris...did it take much longer to dry? I think that's the secret...I've done 'follow me' tutorials before and I and others comment on how they get their paints to stay wet longer even though they tell you to just use water...grrr they are probably using a gel medium as they don't have the same issues.. I never thought to use it even though I have it. I think that's a bit cheeky!! Thanks for the great tip. I'm sure many of us will benefit from that knowledge. BTW have you noticed or has anyone ever mentioned how much your profile painting looks like Cher? Im sure she would love it :) cheers from West Oz x ??Did you paint your big canvas yet..love the colours,,,

It takes a bit longer, probably fine the next day? I show my finished painting of this and the large one on some future video, not sure which one. Thank you as always for your kind feedback! 😊 And yes, many comparisons to Cher, though it was unintentional!

Great tutorial. My first intro to blending medium and a mop brush, and “slipslap” - Love it! The light that you referred to as glare didn’t present an obstacle for me. The way all the color detail was blended with the mop was like magic. Beautiful result. THANK YOU!
