Such a unique list. I love hearing other opinions, especially ones not beholden to the normal lists. Having said that, I was still shocked to see The Dark Half, and Doctor Sleep on the bottom of the list. And thrilled to see 11/22/63 so high. And Hearts in Atlantis is so underrated. Well done

I've read all the Stephen King novels (except for the latest 2, I haven't had time to read these yet, but I have them). Just had to put my Top 10 list here as well: 1. 11/22/63 (I'm a Kennedy Assassination nut, so this content/story was amazing) 2. IT 3. Needful Things 4. The Shining 5. The Stand 5. Different Seasons (just for The Body and Rita Hayworth & The Shawshank Redemption) 6. Misery 7. Duma Key 8. The Long Walk 9. Under the Dome 10. Full Dark, No Stars I have to amend my "read all..." comment. I *tried* like hell to read Insomnia and can't do it. And I quit the Dark Tower series after Book 3. Lost interest in those... and also, I can't read the Peter Straub collaborations. I could pick up on who wrote which part and I didn't like it. So, I read MOST of them cover to cover, but some I could not do.

I read insomnia in early high school possibly even middle school and I absolutely loved it. The three bald people were intriguing, I loved the characters despite not relating to them, and certain chunks of the setting like the lost items and the park were great! The political subplot wasn't great though, minus the bits about abortion.

I recently became a Stephen king fan in 2017 after I saw IT Chapter One. I own 8 King books and 1 audiobook on the Audible app. The books I own are; IT, Cujo, Carrie, The Shinning, Misery, Pet Sematary, FireStarter and 11/22/63. The audiobook I own is The Stand. I only read Pet Sematary so far. I am currently reading FireStarter. The only king movies I have seen are IT, IT Chater 1 and 2, Cujo, Carrie, and Pet Sematary 2019. I’m on season 2 of Mr. Mercedes. If I have seen other king movies I don’t remember them.

It hurts my soul that Wizard and Glass was so far back on your list :( Good job on the video though! I'd have a heck of a time organizing a list of his books by faves (I've read them all but the non-fictions). Our #2 is the same! The Stand is still my #1. There is not a King book I haven't read at least 3 times since I started on him in 1981. Firestarter was my first. I'd be interested to hear how you like The Stand, and what would be my least favorite, The Tommyknockers.

tbh the stand is just meh for me the beginning was awesome, but rebuilding of boulder was slow and boring. the ending was outright awful. i would prefer IT, DT as his best epic.
