another tip when you do any thing in layers don't let it fully cure, wait till its gone tacky then add next layer that should stop the appearance of the lines

Great start! I would be tempted to leave the top clear also, the entire thing is very dark. The dark, sparkly glitter base is great - but I might leave the tip clear also, that would eliminate a few separate pours lines, yathink?

The second layer could be the "spooky" look cuz he is , after all, a skull!! Lol I've seen these pyramids with little tiny Christmas trees and such. An entire scene!! Make ya crazy!🤯 putting together. You explained the mold really well. Thank you..👍🏻 I have one, but I've been too chicken to try it. I'm working up to it 😊 I did try smaller one. I put gold glitter (fine) in it first cuz I wanted gold tip. Added black resin. Dried. Added thin layer gold glitter in resin, dried, last layer black resin. BIG mistake was putting glitter in first. I didn't have it mixed with resin. I just shook some in from container. I don't have a gold tip on my pyramid. No resin to hold it in!!! Please let everyone know, not to do that. The dry glitter just fell off when unmolded. Mine was little, only 1.5". So I'm not devastated. But I would be on the big one!! Keep the strength, girl. 👍🏻

This looks cool and yes I have heard as well covering an object first with resin like with wood they put resin on it first or a sealer to prevent bubbles and then add a complete coverage of resin. It looks awesome can’t wait to see your next attempt and what we learn then as well!

in regards to glitter, if you wait about 10-15 minutes and let your resin thicken and then mix in the glitter, they don't sink so much.

Yes this is cool. I wonder if in the second layer of resin if you place the skull in that layer and tape it the same way if it would just harden with the head of the skull in it. Then in the next layer if you take the resin and cover the skull with resin like you do on your paintings with your hand. Use the torch to pop any bubbles before you fill it up? Just a thought. I really like the glitter base. I love glitter babes

Hi Kanella! I don't really like skull-head stuff. But I gotta hand it to you... this is so cool! I Love it 💜 Put a light behind it and see if it glows. Maybe try putting a butterfly 🦋 in it or a rose like the one in Beauty and the Beast.

Hey girl. I'm only 4 minutes in video but I wanted to give you a heads up (if I don't do it now, I'll forget!)🙄🙄 Anyhoo, I just came across a KZbin resin artist " Naptime Creations" . She's amazing..very quiet cuz she's filming while kids are napping!!😂😂🤣 love it! She's making molds that the resin comes out holographic!! But its not an additive!😯 Really cool. You're always adventuring and exploring. You're The most active, organized person I've ever seen. I think you'd love some of her stuff. Check her out. Thanks for this. As always very informative.
