I have a doubt, can u please clear it! O/d bal. As per C.B - The payment side of C.B has been undercast by 150? O/d bal as per p.b- Wrong credit has been given by banker for 500 in pass book?

A cheque of 5kwas deposited in the bank on 25/3/19 however the said cheque was dishonoured and hence Dr the same n PB on30/3/19 . No entry of dishonoured cheque was passed in the cash book till 3 Apr 2019. Man it's add but how plz reply I am waiting.

Mam I have a small doubt When balance as per passbook is given then the following entry will be add or less the entry is (CHEQUES ISSUED BUT NOT RECORDED IN CASH BOOK ? )+ OR - ?

Add + because cheques issued is not entered in cash book means cash book balance is more. When cash book balance is more means add👍

There is an overdraft of rs 10 k as per bank passbook.A cheque is issued but not paid into bank for rs 20000 and cheque of rs 15000 is issued but not cleared.What shall be balance in cash book? a)5000 b)25000 c)45000 d)20000 While examining its bank account, a company finds that as per bank statement of account, the balance is rs 210000 in their cash credit account.It is observed that bank has debited rs 1950 as interest during the month and credited rs 14000 deposited directly by a customer of the company for repayment of his dues.The bank didnot remit 1200for which an instruction was sent by the company to the bank.What is the balance as per cash book? a)223250 b)253250 c)243250 d)233250 Mam plzz tell how to solve these 2 qns ..I am a beginner

Yes, negative means favourable balance turns into overdraft. If we start with overdraft balance negative means answer favourable balance.
