48 hours in barcelona | top eats, tapas, bakeries & travel tips | europe travel vlog pt 1

hello! sharing some memories of my first time in europe (part 1 is barcelona, spain). I did so much within the first 2.25 ish days, and I still have about 5 days left I'm saving for part 2 :p
let me know if you're curious about anything in the video.
Some tips I learned:
LEVEL airlines ‪@LEVELair‬ is an great option for affordable flights especially when it's not peak season ($400-600 round trip from US west coast).
Take the Aerobus (roundtrip ticket) from the airport into the city, then buy a T-mobilitat transit card (we bought t-casual/single zone/10 rides) - came out to about 25 euros and we topped up the T-mobilitat transit card once during the 7 days we were there.
When buying touristy tickets (park guell, sagrada famalia, etc) online, triple check that it's the official website. lots of different websites try to charge higher prices, and we found this issue when booking train tickets as well.
The weather in May was very nice! Not too hot, not too cold in the evenings as well.
Be prepared to pay for water everywhere in Barcelona (now that I am back in the states I never take water for granted at restaurants loll)

How was the level airline?

@@monsej8568 It was totally fine! I was really worried reading other people’s stories online, but we had no trouble with the airport check-in (mind the 10kg carry-on limit), or the flight itself. They even came by with water at some point (not sure if all level flights would do that). I would also account for extra time because we had to take a bus to and from the gates to the plane in BCN. Definitely bring your own water and food (and blanket, headphones if you use those)!! Hope that is helpful 😃
