48 Hours in Cinque Terre | The Most Beautiful Place in the World

We spent 48 hours in Cinque Terre! Cinque Terre is a string of centuries-old fishing town on the Italian Riviera. Each of these costal villages is more picturesque than the first and are all connected by hiking trails and a train which cuts through the steep cliffs. We lived like a local in an apartment and spent our day hiking trails in the national park, eating delicious local cuisine, founding our favorite aperitif spot, and exploring all five villages in a day!

We love Cinque Terre! We used to drive a lot to a town called Levanto, which is technically not Cinque Terre anymore but right next to it. From there we could take the boat or the Vespa into the great little cities! Great video, thanks for sharing!

👋🏼 hi there! First, thanks so much for watching and subscribing! We are so glad you found these videos useful! As for where to stay-all the towns in CT are great so you can’t go wrong there. Hotels are few and far between (and super expensive) so we’d recommend looking at VRBOs (they seemed to have better rates and options in the area than AirBnB). This also will include a kitchen-which helped us save money in the area. We stopped at the market and bought groceries for breakfast and dinner one night-which was super fun and felt very “local”. The region is know for Pesto-which is great on rice or pasta as a vegetarian option! Also if you get the Cinque Terre pass you can ride the trains and hike the trails. We didn’t do any other activities there so it was actually pretty close effective. In April you’ll want a light jacket for hiking-there may be some spring showers and it will be too cool to swim-but perfect for hiking! Let us know if you have any other questions! Eating the focaccia bread isn't as hard as it looks. The first bite is a bit tough, but chewing is quite easy. Don't recommend if anyone has braces though! 😁
