Corfu Town happens to be one of the most important and monumental island capitals in the Mediterranean region with a very rich historical background and architecture quite unique amongst other islands in the Ionian Sea, due to the town's long-lasting ties with the Venetians, Corfu Town flaunts impressive fortresses and is full of monumental churches, museums, elegant mansions and tourist streets. Since it is full of historical and cultural heritage, walking through the old town will make you feel like you are in a well-preserved, open-air museum, in the heart of Italy.
The area makes for an architectural jewel and the ideal destination for every person that wants to experience a Greek island that is out of the ordinary.

Needs. More. Dancing. ❤‍🔥😄 I really enjoyed this - there's something special about warm Mediterranean evenings and old streets, and this helps me relive many memories of such evenings. Ieva and Karlis, you make a really handsome couple ( _skaists pāris_ ) - nice hat, Karlis! - and it's fun to join you on your holiday. A pity that you got so stiffed on the price of the wine, but sadly that always seems to be the case in touristy areas - I still wince when I remember what I once paid for a beer in the centre of Porto.

Lovely video. But about the wine. It depends on what wine you drink. Not every wine is the same. The house wines maybe in more villages are wonderfully tasty to me and also cheaper. But the wines they pour into various restaurants in a town like Kerkyra is with much more renowned wines from vineyards across Greece. So it's like saying I saw a television (whatever kind) for 700 euro here, but there its 1500 euro. yes. But they are not the same televisions. And also they are not the same wines. And I am not speaking of this opinion to myself. I already told that I love endless varieties of wines across Greece. Even housewines made by the families themselves that have a restaurant in a tiny village. They are just different. Just like that a cheese that takes 8 years of ripening is more expensive than a cheese that is done within 3 months. Then you say: yeah I found cheese to be cheaper here. But everything is in the details. A car on 4 wheels is also not the same. They are all cars, but 1 car gives you all the comfort and is 30k. And another car is 300k and may not even be as comfortable, but gives you more speed and lower to the ground. Anyway. Im saying this because it's basically an unfair comparison. Yes only it is fair if you know zero about wine, zero about cars, zero about TVs'. But no knowledgeable car person will ever tell what you just told about wines.

I've watched every video on this channel, and every one of your ASMR videos, Ieva and, sadly, I finally have a negative 🙁 These travelogues have been really interesting, but I really don't like the music (or most of it). It's just so generic-sounding (or possibly, because I know you must be limited by rights issues and are probably using KZbin library music, it's music I've already heard in someone else's videos, making it functionally generic). This video in particular was different - the Greek-style music may be considered cliché and obvious, but it just fit the piece so much better and felt so much more appropriate. (I feel so bad criticising you at all - you know how much I love your stuff - but I hope you'll consider this constructive feedback and not a harsh criticism or an attack. And if it's only me that feels this way, then I can just be ignored - I'm always going to be watching anyway 😁) Lai jums laba diena!
