I just want to say I’m impressed with how natural you are with vlogging. I’ve watched vloggers since KZbin has been a thing and for you to just start and be this natural and yourself in front of the camera is amazing! Keep up the good work Jam before you know it your channel will blow up! Great video!

Wow I really hope sitting on your editing floor is the cut out parts of you guys eating fish tacos - coz all across America now you can get fish tacos that were inspired by Ensenada fish tacos - fried fish in a tempura style batter, along with shredded cabbage and a white sauce on a corn tortilla with limes to squeeze on it...that's it. You can add more stuff but the basic simple one's are awesome. Generation's of Southern California people went to Ensenada for Fish Taco's (and stop at Rosarito for lobster)...things kind of changed in the early 00's when the cartel violence really stopped Baja tourism. I'm sure it's picked up again after some good years of calm. After visiting Ensenada as a kid, I lived in Ensenada as an adult for almost a year once. I'm from San Diego. Thanks for the great video, I love your family's chemistry.

Wow Jeff, I’m sad to say that we didn’t get to try any fish tacos on our last visit 😭 But I’m glad you told me... you made that sound so delicious! I will definitely make sure to enjoy them the next time we visit. Thank you so much for watching!!

@@jamlikejelly3 yeah I think it's an interesting comment on how SoCal to Baja tourism has changed after the big interuption of almost a decade during the cartel issues. You probably didn't know about the fish tacos but back in the day you would have. Also outside Ensenada are many wonderful vineyards, and there is a strong fine dining and wine culture growing there. It's actually the main wine area of all Mexico, like the Napa Valley of Mexico and draws a significant amount of domestic tourism from Mexicans themselves. I was on a vineyard tour once and there were two Mexican couples wearing fine clothing and the women were very beautiful and then I kind of noticed some other guys kept staying kind of near them and were carrying these big strange shaped briefcases. So as the tour went on I began to chat with the two couples and it turns out one of them was a senor advisor to the Mexican President and these were his Secret Service guys. The briefcases could pop open suddenly and bring out machine guns. Wow haha. But this shows how popular the Ensenada wine region is with Mexico's elite.

While crossing the border did they asked you guys anything? I want to go to Ensenada but having some doubts since they said that is only essential traveling that is currently allowed.
@jamlikejelly34 жыл бұрын
Hi Johanna, so sorry for the late response! We weren’t asked any questions at all. However, this was filmed back in June, so things may have changed since then. I really do hope we can freely travel again soon though; I also want to go back to Ensenada! Thanks for watching 💕
