Hi guys! Im travelling to Portugal by van and I was told that it is strictly forbidden to park overnight in Portugal, that the police drive by at night and give a fee. How is it in your case? :) Have a wonderful time, O.

Hello! So from the middle of Portugal upwards it’s absolutely fine, especially out of season. As for the south, we haven’t been down that far but have heard it’s very very tricky. We park sensibly and don’t stay where it’s forbidden by signs and haven’t had any issues 😊
