Those little windows were made perfectly Bertus and Isis I love how you are experimenting with making your own paint and trying it vs shops paint, I too am very interested in this. Also seeing where you buy your pigmentation. When I lived in the Netherlands I did not know about 'Verfmolen de Kat' I know have learnt something else. I love your videos and you and Bertus make it seem effortless, though I know it is not, it is a lot of hard work. The views are stunning and at this moment I am jealous that you are in a lovely cool farm house. Here in the UK at last it is sweltering. Even the best craftsman can make a mistake ( it will happen eventually). As the wife of a finish carpenter, I've met too many men with missing fingers. Even with the best equipment, accidents can happen, but you're playing with fire with your current setup.

Did you check or ask if there is a well on your property? Normally those old cascinas have their own wells with genuine clear water. At my grandmothers' house there was a cemented hole in the garden where you could get the water up with a bucket on a string and she had a hand pump in the cold kitchen to pump the water up. It was so good! In any case, Ecofiltro looks great - conceptually and esthetically!

I have read about putting a thin bead of silicone in window frame before laying in glass, to provide better insulation, wind and water proofing. It also adds to the resistance to breakage because the silicone is flexible. The glass won't rattle in frame that way as the wood shrinks a little at certain times of the year. Silicon is easy enough to remove from frame and glass should you need to replace the glass sometime in the future.

Your 'cooking' is such a lovely segment in your videos, you might consider adding the recipe................... ? Bertus ~ Great workshop window frames! Idea ~ Very cost effective! Even though I have a large dust collection system in my shop, You may want to consider a shop vac that attaches to the chop-saw and is auto switched to run when the chop-saw runs. Isis and Bertus…your vlogs are like eye candy. I love the aerial views and the flora and fauna closeups. Also, you employ just the right mix of active work and verbal narrative. Your music backgrounds are perfect. Some of the chateau and farm restoration channels I subscribe to seem to be all talk and hand waving. Very annoying! But you are definitely professionals in you filming and editing. Isis, your voice is very soothing. Bertus, you should smile more😁…. Love your hats! You have left many clues in your videos as to your location in Alta Langhe in the Piemonte region of Italy without actually revealing your address. It took me several hours over the last month to finally locate you on Google Earth. I assume you don’t want to divulge your location at this time so I will not share it here. Since you are making many aspects of your life open to the public, consider sharing more information regarding your local community, it’s history, architecture and customs that you will slowly assimilate into. It will add some additional depth beyond the natural environment which you do such a fine job covering. Kudos to you and your channel🥰

And stays in the air even if you use a respirator

Kan je de lijnzaadolie verf ook gebruiken voor houten tuinmeubilair ? De ramen zien er netjes uit , het geeft me een idee voor een raam die ik moet vervangen in mijn garage . Weer mooie video.
