Sir, in case of NSC, you have taken example of 6 years. But, as per cleartax website, the interest gets reinvested for the first four years and deduction of such interest is available u/s 80C. In the fifth year, the interest earned in taxed under income from other sources. Please clarify, thank you.

Latest issues: NSC VIII Issue (5 year tenure) and NSC IX Issue (10 year tenure) In any case last year interest will not get 80C Deduction. 6 Year NSC now closed, but people may be holding this and getting interest on it. In exam you will get to know the tenure.

₹100 is the principle investment so it can not be taxable. Other interest of ₹50, which was received in last 5 years has already been made taxable, so only 13 would be taxed in the last year.
