This Bangkok Condo Tour continues in the series of 3 videos all released today, showing $500/month Bangkok Condos for rent. If you are curious about cost of living in Bangkok then this video will show you what you get for $480/month in the world of condo rentals.
Our agent/host Khun Nan takes us to a nice building named Q House Sukhumvit 79 today. It's in a great neighborhood in Bangkok, close to public transportation, yet more low key and laid back than the business districts. Check it out.

The metro system in Bangkok has been extended and will be extended significantly in the next few years. Even today, it's not hard to find 1-bedroom condo that costs around $300 or less a month if you're okay with living a bit far from downtown but these neighborhoods still have everything you need. They are where local middle-class people actually live.

I'm Thai.If you are not worried to travel by BTS 30 min to 1 Hr. to the city center. Outside the city, there are tons of homes that are over 2,000 square feet for less than 1000$. In Thailand most condo is expensive. If compared with a single house with the same usable area, but condo close to center city more than house. In my area is at end of BTS line. Single house 2,200 sq.ft is around 600-700 $

Thanks for the videos on the apartments & costs. The Nana and On Nut locations were especially interesting for us as we enjoy those areas of Sukhumvit. Over the last few years we've mostly used airbnb to book condos, simply because of visa requirements, and we like to move around a bit. The 'virus' put a cramp in our plans, because we were caught back in the states, and not able to return yet. The Q House looks especially interesting as On Nut location suits our lifestyle - and Corner 79 is a short walk! Thanks for the videos!!

As a Local resident here in Manila, I assure you you're better off in retiring in Thailand. Utilities like water, electricity and even internet is much more reliable and "humane" versus the absurd and astronomical rates we pay here in the Philippines. Plus, Thailand has better infrastructure. Save for the language barrier but in terms of overall value for money and quality of life, Choose Thailand!

The $500 apartments would be a bit cramped to live in full time, so I am interested to see how much more space you get if you push the budget up a bit to the $750 to $1000 range. One thing I noticed is you focus mostly on huge, new apartment buildings, which is great. These are nice, but you are paying a bit for location. Move a bit further out and you can get exactly the same sort of apartments for $250-300 a month. And depending on lifestyle the locations may even be better. E.g. Ramkhamhaeng has The Base, DCondo for $280 a month, they are right next to the airport line, easy to get out of Bangkok and are only 5-10 mins from Thonglor/Ekkamai, and have the full resort style facilities. And then for those that want cheaper you can even get new studio rooms for around $120-150 in places like Udom Suk - still on BTS

Thanks for putting your spin on condos in Bangkok, excelente job, I’ve been in Pattaya since March and find it a more liveable place for a retired person especially Jomtien, I love Bangkok too just not for long term stays! It’s possible to get even better value in terms of sizes in Pattaya as the cheaper condos in Bangkok are like shoe boxes imo.

I used to own a Condo in Jomtien at Park Lane Condominium .One bedroom ,36 sqm .I later moved up to Chiang mai to live and rented out the PL Condo for B10,000 a month back around 2010 .I now see them going for B7000 a month on a years contract .

And less pollution. Sometimes it can be quite bad in Bangkok.

That would be great to see 1 to 2K rental options. Regarding the three condos; the pricing on those is for, 1-year, 6 months, or is that by the month contract? Great videos and look forward to more; just subscribed! Cheers from Alaska!

I really like these condo videos. It would be great to see some affordable Bangkok Condos for sale - by affordable I mean below 10m baht. I’d also be more interested in the 1k-2k rental range. Excellent work as always sir. By the way I think a pink / purple dressing gown type thing like NaN has would suit you !

Good stuff. Just started watching, so may have asked. I'm always looking for 'pet friendly' places, as daughter graduates Uni next year. So far, will be working across from Emporium.

Excellent tour. If this is something you can do at least once a year, that would be awesome! This way we may keep up to date to the changes in the real state in Thailand. Also, other States in Thailand would be appreciated.
