hello friends ⭐️ this vlog took a long time for me to edit because i was so busy with exams and projects at university, uff;
since it’s spring time, i’ve been going on more walks in bologna and admiring how the city is slowly changing ! it’s sunny most of the days in a week now, and i have so much more energy too, so i started my italian language learning journey hehe. overall this vlog is just about my life and what i’m going through currently as an international master’s degree student in italy !
i’m always happy to share these little moments of my life with you,

6:45 As someone who draws a lot, I always keep a sketchbook in hand. Once I was feeling the start of an anxiety attack and simply begun to write every thought that passed through my mind- I cannot understate how much it helped me. Because I was writing, my thoughts slowed down; also, by putting them into words, it helped to make sense of what was disturbing me and- later on- helped to combat it. Wish you well

thank you for sharing your experience! 💓 it does help me in much way than just writing whatever worries me in the notes app on my phone, but i also noticed that when i write on paper my thoughts slow down to the point that in the middle of the process i forget what i was even anxious and so emotional about, i don’t know if it’s okay :’)

Hi, I have currently received postgraduate offers in statistics from Bologna and Rome Sapienza University in Italy, which one do you think will be better? Which one would people find better in Italy? Thanks for sharing your video!
@katyakrasnova
@katyakrasnova 8 ай бұрын
hii, thank you for watching my video ⭐️ i don’t know if my question will be of any use to you because i didn’t apply to rome, since i didnt find anything interesting personally for me in their universities; i can talk a bit about the city itself: what i can say, is that finding a place to live, and probably for adequate price, is easier in rome. in bologna its very difficult and prices are equal to milan. however, bologna has its own vibe, university is the oldest one in the whole europe, and i really like studying here and living too! there are not so many tourists, the city itself is aimed at young people, the region of emiglia-romagna has a big budget (where bologna is located), so they always do many interesting activities for people here about universities: i think Italians themselves go to Unibo more often than to Sapienza because it probably is higher in universities ratings, but im not sure. i simply heard many times that unibo is more “elite” and “difficult to study at” in comparison to some other places :-)

Hello, what are the job opportunities as a student in Italy?
@katyakrasnova
@katyakrasnova 9 ай бұрын
you need to know italian 100%, and it’s a very difficult situation in the job market here, as in any other country nowadays, but as for me, here it seems a bit worse, salaries are also not that high, everything’s based on some sort of nepotism 😅 that’s why many italians are leaving their own country to work and live abroad
@katyakrasnova
@katyakrasnova 9 ай бұрын
if your question was more about basic sort of job like a waiter, seller of something etc it’s also not that easy to find, because again, in 90% of cases you need to know italian, a document, which allows you to work (student residence permit gives you allowance only for 20 hours max / week), and most likely you’re going to work without any contract, so you’ll be getting paid “under the table” 😀 that information is from what ive heard so far from other students, and ive tried to look for a job myself these past two months and gave up for now
