Hey Jim, what knot do you use to tie that thick mono leader to your lead clip? And what braid to mono knot do you use?

Hi James, I only ever use only a small number of very reliable knots. Mainly, the ‘Grinner’ ‘Double Grinner’ ‘Albright Knot’ & ‘Figure of 8’ loop knot. My braid to shock leader is a double Grinner & mono to hybrid lead clip is a Grinner knot 👍🏻👍🏻 I’ll do a video over the winter & put it up 🎣

Did you say that you just soak your tiger nuts and was it maize. For a long time . How long for ? Great videos.

Cheers Alisdair 👍🏻 yes soak them both for 24hrs then boil for 30mins. Although with Tiger Nuts if you can soak them for about 5 days they don’t need boiling 🎣 I use big amounts & soak 25kg at a time

Yes Matt that’s correct, although you can just turn up, purchase a licence & fish the rivers as they are a public fishery 👍🏻 The holiday home is just a great place to take the missus & kids whilst we fish 😀👍🏻

Cheers Martin 👍🏻🎣 you just need the French national permit..easy to purchase online via cartedepeche website. Check the local aappma websites for fishing zones 🎣🇫🇷
