I can't believe just how much has changed in 11 years.. Why did they take away the armories? #75 Tor Scotts are now training at a policing facility now way out in Etobicoke.. If I was PM, I would reverse this and put the units back into the armoires.

Cool to see them using traditional red tunics

Actually it's the 48th Highlanders and the Toronto Scottish.

Why do reservists always look like they are forced to be there. I mean, they are, but look like you aren't, thanks.

Blame the NCOs for settling low standards but don't blame the average soldiers and certainly don't make it a Reserve vs Reg Force thing. For one thing The Governor General Foot Guards and the Canadian Grenadier Guards are both reserve units. And if truth be told I have seen the Van Doos doing public duties in Quebec City and I can't say their drill was 1,000 times better. In fact their drill became half decent only when they were put on Buckingham Palace guard in 2014.

Seriously, waaay too many of those kilts are too short, above the knee instead of splitting the kneecap in half! Greetings from Scotland nonetheless 🇨🇦 💞 🏴

If the Canadian army fights like it marches, we are in trouble.

Yeah.. how's that "manly" army been working out for Russia? I'm sure their manhood and unbent elbows really help when they get nailed by GMLRS, JDAMs or 155mm artillery rounds, or that FPV Drone with an RPG warhead that literally just rammed itself up their ass.
