Recently I started to watch Glee all over again and even if time passed, I can’t get over this ship, so I thought about making a video about it.
I don’t know if there still are some Faberry shippers out there, but if you are here so let me tell you you’re not alone and I’m still crying over these two. And now that this video is done I can finally sleep at night ahaha

At first I wasn't sure why people shipped Faberry so much. I figured it was just trope stuff. But now I see it. Rachel has always been mindful of Quinn's feelings and wellbeing, more so than she has of anyone else's. Quinn is probably the only one who can get Rachel to feel real empathy for those around her, instead of focusing on herself all the time. Quinn is naturally snarky. But unlike Santana, she uses her words softly and with more eloquence instead of lashing out. It's why she was the Queen B of Mckinley. But with Rachel, she doesn't aim to hurt her. She wants to give Rachel a sense of reality, but doesn't do it to make her feel bad about herself. And honestly, the reason Rachel didn't develop well is probably due to Quinn's absence. Just as Brittany made Santana softer and more compassionate, Quinn probably could have made Rachel calmer and pulled her out of her own head. In turn, while Santana always assured Brittany she was smart and made her feel special, Rachel could have been the shoulder Quinn needed to lean on. Finn's death (RIP Cory, Mark, and Naya) could have served as a way to bring the two of them closer together. It would have made more sense than what we got. Missed opportunities everywhere.

I never shipped them(I kind of theoretically do now great vid) but I will say their duet was my favorite duet from this show, even compared to Marley and Unique’s Blow Me and the girls version of Shake It Out(not really a duet but whatever). Their song together was just so perfect in representing how they themselves worked together. There’s an inner sadness, an injustice being done, but neither will say or do anything about it because one is already happy with where she is(the show tries to portray that one as Quinn, but in the end I think it was Rachel, because she was always chasing her ambitions and worrying about no one else) and the other is kind of silently accepting that her life will never be perfect, and that eventually she’ll just have to be happy with what she has(in this case, Quinn, who does eventually go to Yale and becomes successful, but only because the other parts of her life had screwed her over so much she felt she had to start again). Damn, I didn’t mean to do a full literal analysis on their duet, but there you go. Those are my thoughts, any way. I thought it was one of the better moments in the show, which is saying something.
