Thank you, thank you, thank you! Although still confused at 35:40 why v_o has a negative sign

The Vo is negative because see the sign he put. + is on the ground and - is on the top which means current is flowing from the ground to the top and then left. Current always flow from high to low. So due to that the Vo is - you have to add - sign.
