2 strokes seems to be the motor for bikes cuz the 4 strokes dont go up hills for shit

A coworker of mine is going to build a 49cc chopper bike for commuting bcuz hes haveing transport problems. He called the local PD and they said he needed to register AND have insurance!? Insurance? Im in PA and i cant believe how strict they are with such measly bikes. I actually ride a fast 72v ebike to work and havnt had an issue but 75% of the ride is backroads. Noone seems to care. Im prob the safest, lightest vehicle on the damn road.

laws on these bikes seem to vary wildly from state-to-state, here in Ohio the law is " whatever the heck the cop feels like telling you at the time"

It also doesn't help that we have people strapping on mods galore and engines that have no right ever being on a bicycle and going 70 + mph down the road

Hi, never seen a 49cc kit. I use a 79cc on one of my bikes. Cops cant tell the engine size anyway. Where can I get a kit to play with?

Was a 700c but it has mixed wheels now, 26 inch in the front and 700c in the back.
