49cc gas scooter clutch bell replacement

Hey what's that thing called I'm not sure of the name but I'm rebuilding my clutch I got the sprocket but everytime i put the sprocket in where supposed to be it just goes in way down idk the name of it but it's like a ball shapped thing that the sprocket goes In so it stands out a bit more and doesn't go in all the way
