Your exhaust manifold (where your exhaust should be) is right above your tyre so dirt can flic up from your tyre into the exhaust manifold and mess up your piston

Gonna melt the rings doing that, it sounds cool but just get a loud pipe expansion chamber with back pressure you need it.

I had the xtreme x or something 49cc 2 speed looked similar i had bought the same air filter but bought this weird aircraft aluminum 100 dollar exhaust looked like a small metal brick with groves inside for back pressure that made it so loud almost as loud as no exhaust literally not much different besides the fact its working properly that carburetors a pain when dealing with altitude change also try a high octane 115 you'll notice some crazy power lol i got mine up to 40mph before the belt transmission broke

Definitely put an exhaust on it because if you run it like that you will message up the head. It warps it and you will be out some parts. Don't run it for too long without an exhaust.

Manuel Gutierrez yeah. It was more of an experimental thing. I put a muffler on it right after this video. Just curious how it sounded, and the muffler didn’t come in the mail yet.

That gas looked clear...I hope you're mixing it with 2 cycle oil. And running an engine without an exhaust like that will burn up piston rings fast. I have 2 of these engines they're actually decent for Chinese engines.

I have a Chinese petrol scooter as well but don't know how to start it up and get it in drive. Any ideas? To start it you pull the pull-cord while opening the throttle. However how do you put it in drive after you start it. And are there any other start up stages I'm missing. I know how to use the choke, primer bulb and air-mixture screw. Is there supposed to be an ignition switch or fuel switch as well? I can't see anything.

@@alantaylor6691 oh your dumb guy if you cant put it in drive you cant adjust the carb mix screws there is no drive guy you just pull the gas and go it has a centrifugal clutch that makes the wheel spin only when your on the gas

Hi, I have just acquired a second-hand petrol stand-up scooter just like yours, however I'm not sure how to start it and put it into drive. It also has a kill switch. So to start it you pull the pull-cord while twisting the throttle. However what do you do when you want to engage the clutch to make it drive? It seems that at the beginning you are twisting the throttle and it's not going anywhere, however when you step on it you again twist the throttle but now it's going forwards.

If your motor starts some times it's usually a gas issue. It gets fluded and it won't start all the time and you will always have gas on your plug.

Manuel Gutierrez This one may have been marketed different in the U.S, but it is identical to my engine which came off a skateboard, it's a "Morrison" with a gear-reduction of 6:1, not the most reliable design IMHO coz under high revs for long periods, bolts nuts and mounts tend to rattle loose.

motorve That big screw on top of the trans is the oil-filler, ya meant to unscrew it and top the gears up with oil because there is a small pinion that drives a bigger cog which gives the 6:1 gear reduction.

hi Jaden Rhines I have a solution to your problem with your scooter you haven't put gas in the gas tank for a while so there's a lot of air in the fuel line just keep priming the primer and let all of the air out!!!

Im not here to be hateful. Just giving advice to you. Not so much priming, less throttle when you are starting it. A few other things too. When you're running a motor. You need some sort of muffler. Because without one, there's no back pressure which means your own head is sucking cod air into a hot cylinder which could cause you to throw a piston, or warp your valves. And that's total Carnage. Just helping out. I speak from experience
