Thank you for this video. Few years ago when I started my journey with junk journaling I constantly searched for videos like that. Unfortunately most of them cover just one subject. This video will help so many people searching for the right information, all in one place❤🙏🏼

Another fabulous video, Barbara!! ! I've been junk journaling for more than 20 years, and this is the best jj intro video that I've ever seen. My daughters have decided to delve into this art, and I immediately sent them this video today, as it's a much better and more concise way to explain things to them than I could do myself. 😊 Thanks for sharing your expertise!❤❤❤

Lol when I first moved from painting and card making I was rather baffled😄. Although I knew the bookbinding terms. Did you know each folded sheet in the signature is a choir? Me neither until Nick the booksmith said lol. I'm loving tab binding now, STILL can't gel with pamphlet stitch 🙈😄. I love my coptic (single and folded)fiddly or not. Temporary binding is a genius idea 💡sweetie! Lol I had to google ephemera🙊. The cutting with a border is kiss 💋cutting, so cute lol. Your photo reminds me of the last supper 🙊. Oh kiss distress, I LOVE that 🙊. Sizzix has a new 'magic mat', looks like a cutting mat and doesn't warp! You introduced me to altered books and I love them for attic books. Lo a tuck spocket? 😄. Interesting distinction for mixed media, never thought of it before. You are our collage queen 👑. You always inspire me, I still struggle a little with it🙈. Great video and it's always fun looking back through your journals🤗. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

Awesome, I enjoyed this video not for the terms (already familiar with them) but for another chance to look at your projects and hear your therapeutically calming voice. i think clusters should have been mentioned, though, in he section of layering. Very widely used term in the JJ community. ❤

Beautiful explanations. Definitely a perfect video for someone just starting out. I know a few people have recently done some beginner stuff. But it would be absolutely perfect if you could start a beginner playlist. When I first started, I looked everywhere, but couldn’t find anything except an occasional video here and there. Like I said, I know more people are doing it now, but it would be wonderful if it was all in one playlist and preferably coming from you!😉 😂 Hugs! 🤗❤️😘 (#teamEphy)🤣

What a lovely tour of junk journals and the terms used. I’ve done all types of crafts but have only been an observer to junk journals. I’m very seriously thinking to try one because I love gelli printing and all types of stenciling and stamping and mixed media as well. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the collage book!! I must have missed a lot of those! That inspired me to start one myself. The technique also reminds me of CLUSTERS, which are the same principle, but on a smaller scale, I just realized. Clusters are my favorite type of project. Like collage, you can use stamps and stencils and ink and book page and everything you would use in a collage. Also, doing the collages inside a book on pages that are a little smaller than a masterboard seems less daunting to me. But your collage book is BEAUTIFUL, and I went back three times to look at each page you showed. Thank you, as always, for your videos, and happy 2024!

Thank you. I am very new to journalling. I have been collecting things to use. I am lucky that a neighbour in my apartment building was giving away some old books so I was able to get some which I have got some very interesting images for my ephemera collection. I am trying to start my first ever journal and was actually thinking it was fun to use an old book with inteestingly yellowed pages as my pages as I am not too confident yet about making my own pages, sections etc and I thought it might be fun to have some of the test showing through in some of the pages too.
