Congratulations, a journal must be in your future. A travel signature about your honeymoon, remember photos can get lost in the cloud - print some out to tuck in here and there - my best advice is to never go to bed angry - you may be tired in the morning but talk it out. Take breaks - but sleep together, then you reach out in your dream to reconcile.

Hi Barbara! Such a beautiful cover, I love the bee! 🐝 While watching I realized I could use this type of journal cover on a ring binder that the cover has been very damaged. I don't want to throw it away because it has a special size and I was debating on how I could cover it up. With this the cover would be thicker and squishy, and pretty sturdy. Thanks for the inspiration! 😁

Since one side of the cover was open for the pocket, you could have poked the brads through the top cover only and folded the legs over INSIDE the bag. That way the brad legs would have been hidden inside. Same thing with the disc closures. Add it to the flap BEFORE you glue the backing on…..then glue it onto the cover. In any case: I love watching your video’s! Thank you so much for sharing 🥰

Ich kenne schon viele deiner Papiertaschen-Journals mit und ohne Henkel und finde, dass deine immer super werden. Ich habe selbst auch schon ähnliche Journals gemacht und denke, dass das auch eine der besten Möglichkeiten ist ein Softcover zu machen, da die Tüten recht reißfest sind. Es gibt übrigens auch einen sehr ähnlichen Textilkleber von der Firma von der ich meinen Buchbinderleim kaufe, falls du danach suchst… Tolle Stoffe, sehr wundervolles Cover und sehr schönes Tutorial! It's not because I don't know how to start a new Journal, but it's just nice to sit and watch this video now that I'm between two Journals. Planning a little what will happen in the new one. That little pocket with a flap is brilliant... copy copy... and the fabric is just so delicious. quilting4you is such a cool shop, I plan on buying fabric for new pillows from them. on your recommendation I have shopped there a few times, they are quick to deliver here to Denmark, and there is also a small gift included. This method of journal has always been one i love to make since you made it years ago. I have a brown jean jacket i saved as well since then so i can do it like the jean journal you did back then. Barbara, once again you share another inspiring junk journal cover. I keep enjoying how you go about creating these covers. Every time I view one I learn something new. Thank you for helping me gain confidence with this type of cover. Several months ago, I attempted to make a journal using luncheon paper bags. I created a fabric cover stitching it down the way you do. I did not add any other papers to the signature I made; hence every page is from a paper bag. So, I have a lot of pockets. (ha, ha) Not to thrilled, I put it aside. Feeling encouraged, I have revisited it. The plan is to decorate the solid pages and create cards or tags to insert in each pocket. I am looking forward to completing this journal. I like to have themes for my journals and this little one's them will be "Happiness." The bottom line for sharing this is -- through your videos -- I realize that it is okay to mess up or to put a journal aside and wait for inspiration. Thank you,
