If you were the 49ers GM, how would handle the 49ers 2025 offseason ?

If I were the GM, I wouldn’t pay Purdy more than $40-$45 million. Doesn’t he have a year left on his contract? Wait to see how he does next year before emptying the piggy bank. Let go of some of the big contracts - Aiyuk (eat some of his contract and trade him), trade Deebo, release Juszczyk, Charvarius Ward (man I love that dude), and maybe even Trent Williams and McCaffery. Big hits on the salary cap, we could spread that money around more equitably and get hella young players through the draft and free agency. Like a mini rebuild. Keep Kittle, Mason, Guerero, Jennings, and Freddy Dubs and Dre OutLaw, Lenoir, and the young bucks who are playing good and not making as much as 5 or 10 other guys. Need to upgrade the O-line which is gonna cost, but it will be money well spent. Purdy in a clean pocket can find receivers. We’re not winning the war in the trenches and that needs to be fixed before anything else can happen. I don’t know, I guess that’s not very original. Everyone wants to unload bad contracts and get young studs.

Devondre Campbell best not show his sorry ass in the Bay Area. As far as the team, it started out when our best WR wanted Justin Jefferson money for one good season. CMC was injured. Deebo like you mentioned looks old suddenly. Trent hasn’t been healthy. When things go bad, they sometimes snowball. I hope we can get some linemen and come back strong next year. We still got hella talent on this team, just need some tweaks and a few acquisitions.
