Sounds like he actually is the right guy time will tell💯

Straight business. Reminds me of Salah and he has a GREAT mind for this type of defense.

He seems bright and hopefully we can get back to our natural state of a defense.

Chiming in at 69, like button and great interview...Nick is the right guy for this position. He'll bring the rookies up to speed the rest is up to them. Niners are in a very good place.

I’m sure Sorensen has forgotten more defense than I know, but I don’t think he was comfortable with this presser. Just a guess, but maybe that nexus with Staley isn’t quite resolved yet. Versatility, speed, violence, finish, we get it. Looking for how he integrates new players, getting that pass rush home. Jury is definitely out

Why does he seem like he should be a youth pastor in middle suburbia?

What's the point of asking questions about the Detriot game? That's old news. Ask Nick about the current roster, rookies and plans for this new D.

Media members often bait players and coaches to attempt to get them to blame other coaches or players for things that didn't go right. They fish for headlines/hot takes/controversial statements so they can use it to make $ for the media company they work for. Most sports writers get paid from traffic/clicks. This is why so many outlets like Sports Illustrated has become so unreliable and unprofessional with their content. Modern day "journalism" makes its $ from clicks on social media and websites. Thank God we have David working for the Athletic who makes a big portion of their $ from membership so they can afford to make high quality content instead of clickbait to pander to ad companies.

Who was the player the initial questions were about? Malik?

It’s like a more personable Kyle.

Yep. Kind of like how Spicoli was more likeable the Demone, in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

I resect Sorensen, but something tells me that Staley may end up having more influence over the defense. The fanbase would have been irate if they hired Staley to be the DC after the Chargers debacle. So now he may turn out to be the de facto DC.

Looked more relaxed on this interview than the one at the podium. I’m sure he will get more comfortable but hopefully the Staley questions stop. He’s the dc

Sweater is small man syndrome, which leads to insecurity. Which leads to he's already on the hot seat. We shall see, but i think Kyle found his boy that will complement his current persona.
