Just....get rid of Moody.
@fualexander779822 күн бұрын
Moody has got to go. He lost us the Super Bowl. And let's be frank here, he has been missing kicks pretty much from the moment he stepped onto the field in a 9ers uniform. In fact, his misses were so bad in his rookie year whereby the bulk of the fanbase was calling to get Robbie back before the playoffs. Remember that? To date, he is still regularly missing kicks for the 9ers. It is just unacceptable. When he was injured, some of the stand-ins from the streets actually did quite well. You don't need to draft a kicker for cry out loud!

Moody isn't going to solve the Special Teams mistakes.
@PJ12Fr22 күн бұрын
I know this sounds crazy, but Jake moody isn’t all to blame for the kicks. While that sounds stupid, if you watch the tape, especially the lions game, his holder would straight up hold the ball wrong and even drop it at times. Also, Moody started missing kicks when Wishnowski was hurt, so his holder might be why his kicks were bad. Just watch a video on it, it’s crazy
@mr.nuna91622 күн бұрын
@@16ktsgamma the punt team and kickers are part of special teams. Moody has contributed to a shit ton of Miss points this season
@stevegooch177622 күн бұрын
There are lots of former NFL kickers making the point that the holder has been the main issue in the FG game, and Moody being young probably isn't saying anything to anyone. Robbie literally taught Mitch how to hold, and that was starting from a blank Australian mold who had never held before. This one thing might be the most underrated or underappreciated part of having a veteran who knew how to bitch to get his way. Jake will be okay, and I know that's hard to take. He just needs a proper holder.
@PaulGaither22 күн бұрын
That question was PERFECT. Especially the snap back by the reporter who quoted Kyle who said he doesn't watch kicker tryouts and how Kyle has said repeatedly that all he asks of special teams is that they don't lose you the game. It is accurate to say that Kyle has no interest in special teams.
@PaulGaither22 күн бұрын
Do you know the last time the 49ers had a kick or punt returned for a TD? Tedd Ginn Jr under Jim Harbaugh. Do you know that in 8 years there has not been one special teams trick play that was called? Mitch Wishnowski improvised on his keeper because he saw a wide open lane. Not Kyle on film. Not the ST coach. Just in the moment he did it himself.
