We definitely could use them both but if I had to choose I’m choosing Dre, we have other safeties who may not be at hufunga level (honestly mustapha is looking there) but they will be fine with time.

Niners better start finding a replacement for Greenlaw. They still haven't found a replacement for Azeez Al-Shaair. Niners looked horrible without Greenlaw. They also didn't look that great without Al-Shaair. Greenlaw will turn 28 next year and injuries will start to pile up. Greenlaw is also an undersized linebacker. I could see the Niners signing him for 2-3 years and then parting ways. I'm surprise Niners didn't draft a higher LB last year. Niners could have drafted a higher LB, FS, OL, DL, TE last year but instead they took a position they were already loaded at. I understand taking a position of luxury if you see something special in him and if he fell in the draft but Pearsall was neither. Good all around and can be really solid but could of had him in later rounds.

Go ahead and hit me with your football resume. 2. Yes, missing camp is exactly why BA underperformed almost every wr3 in the league WHILE GETTING PAID 30M. Who chose to sit out camp? Did the 49ers suspend him from camp? Oh wait, he chose that himself and he's an grown ass man so he and he alone are accountable for his choices. You want to have the mentality that this season "doesn't count" bc he missed the entire off-season therfore it was forgone conclusion he would under perform? OK, then in that case we paid him 120m for 3 seasons not 4, which makes it even more of an over pay

@ it’s always the bums who claim they did this and did in the comments nobody knows you. Players sit out of camp cuz if they tear/break something there goes that contract UNLESS you’re a QB. From someone who swears they know ball you’re a clueless mf. Bosa Deebo Trent Warner Kittle now Aiyuk all went through this. Front office should pay guys during the draft or prior like most teams do or tell the player have faith come to camp we’ll 100% get the deal done so we don’t have players playing but not in football shape.
