Vontae wasn't mad about his use. He was playing the first half and just flat sucked. And when he retired the Bills had multiple backups dressed. Campbell was just butthurt and left us playing a hurt 5th string LB and a safety at LB.

Not defending Campbell but isn't it a bit hypocritical to say the Niners should sit some players for the last games but it's wrong for Campbell to sit out the 2nd half. If they're not hurt, there should be no sitting out. They're getting paid to play, not to be saved for next year. Once again, what Campbell did was immature and selfish. Everyone knows some players have those moments. He'll probably get picked up by another team if he still can play. NFL teams have picked up/drafted/traded for players who had done worse.

I get that this is a massively disappointing action for a teammate to take but treating the man like he is some sort criminal and scourge of society is a bit much. He didn’t just roll out of bed and on a whim make this choice and the reason may not make sense or be rational but it wasn’t likely because he is some vile member of society. It was a football game, he didn’t do his job, he will be let go, the end. The Niners lost bc they were awful on offense. The D despite injuries did a fantastic job - the offense again was massively underwhelming and substandard even given the injuries they have. Bad throws, missed reads, blown opportunities, multiple dropped balls, etc. 6 points is embarrassing.

Brock's not the problem, yeah he had a bad game, but that O-line and WR's that can't break away is the REAL problem on offense. The D with Greenlaw looked great last night. Too bad the 9ers didn't have him all year. Time to restock, rest players playing with injuries and get ready for '25.

I don't think much of Shanahan. He hasn't proved much to me. I will say though that the offense need to execute. If the line doesn't block, Purdy doesn't have time. The receivers don't seem to get open much. Just too many late game let downs during the Shanahan regime. That's coaching and execution. There are better coaches in my opinion.
