I really hope someone with common sense talks to Purdy instead of just his greedy self-serving agent. He was one pick away from being on some practice squad who knows where or the Canadian Football League. He inherited a team that is a perennial NFC championship and Superbowl contender instead of his career dying in some completely dysfunctional franchise. He can make more money than he ever probably imagined before the draft. What difference does it make what other players are making compared to him when he's going to make more money in one year than 99% of the population? I’m so sick of the never draft a kicker in 3rd round. Technically it was after the 3rd rd and what’s the difference if they picked him there or 4th rd. He wasn’t bad his first season but he got terrible after the injury maybe he gets his head right this year and ends up being a stud the next 10 years. Look at all the 3rd rd bust they have had during this regime I’d say he has helped this team more then all but 2 of them he even broke the Super Bowl fg record even tho that got broken 20 mins later.
