You don't think that BA's agent knew that high quality WRs were going to sign this year? Most likely SF had an offer on the table and BA didn't accept. They knew St. Brown and Jefferson were the tells on where there offer should be. When St. Brown signed for 30, BA was asking for that kind of money and SF balked. Then Jefferson signed and now they're nowhere close.

There are certain teams wants to take Brandon Aiyuk, away from the 49ers to weaken there offense. The 49ers still have Leverage over Brandon Aiyuk, the 49ers can decide to make him play under his 5th option at 14.1 million or tag him next off-season to wait to see if other teams may want to give the 49ers a 1rd pick and a 3rd pick for Ayiuk depending where they select in next year draft.

@@ivannavas6295 John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan gave up 3 1rd# picks to get Trey Lance, usually when a GM and Coach mess up like that after trading that pick after 2 years because they thought he was going to replace Jimmy Garoppolo and Garoppolo is still the better quarterback they usually get fired. The 49ers offered Brandon Aiyuk 26 million dollars per year, now the key is how much guaranteed money will they give him.

Hi Chase, honestly the only way to get better is to get actual access to the team and make contacts with real league sources outside the 49er organization. Other CHAT correspondents could cultivate the outside contacts the same as you and then network among yourselves. You're really not reporting, you're re-reporting and/or speculating. You have a fun channel to watch because we can all debate the speculation or reports you relay to us, but its really not all that informative. Look, Monday morning quarterbacking is the easiest thing in the world. Reporting what went right isn't nearly as sexy as reporting what went wrong. In hindsight, OF COURSE the Niners should have negotiated his contract earlier. But they may not have made the same free agent pick ups or drafted Pearsall if they had. Jennings getting his bag should not be conflated with the problems negotiating a deal with Aiyuk. Jennings was easy, he's cheaper by far and plays beyond the value of even his new contract. PS, Jennings is a dog too and wants to win just as much as Aiyuk. I agree with your take on the rookies, but we may be surprised by Guerendo. Right tackles are available via trade with a team who feels they have sufficient line depth and are thirsty for a wid receivers. I still like Fataunu for Deebo or Aiyuk as a possibility. Niners v. Cincinnati in Super Bowl wiith Niners getting the Super Bowl trifecta.

If there is no deal, stop with all speculation and reporting on the rumors that are probably on rumors that are probably planted by bored sports writers with nothing to report.

Quit reporting rumors!” I answered your question along with a lot of other people saying the same thing. 2 of 4 words in your question (improve & report) I said. I feel your reply is disrespectful to a subscriber. Replying on rumor questions from subscribers which is an open Q&A conversation is ok. I can point out a numerous posts where you are reporting rumors from someone else. There are enough fake news out there. Please do not keep spreading. Reporting Definition. “Reporting is a spoken or written account of something that one has observed, heard, done, or investigated.” Deebo or BA being cut or traded is bound to happen. But I would say they are both kept until at least the trade deadline because they are both under contract. This is depending how well they do this season and how well Pearsall does. We all know he was drafted as a possible replacement. I do respect the research you make and opinions. It tells us a lot about the team we love. Keep that up!
